I definitely always found it a bit odd how they didnt use more of the "lizahrd tech" they have. I mean the golem is literally powered by a battery made by reptiles. Its nice to see more type of tech even if simple (just a tiny golem head, but its a nice change)

Honestly, this golem looks WAYYY too hard no cap. Even the new calamitymod that makes it 1000x times harder feels and looks much easier ngl
a lot of bosses need serious re-works in my opinion. for starters, pretty much every boss that uses projectiles needs to stop just being rng, there needs to be attack patterns. bosses like the brain of Cthulhu and the eater of worlds are kind of bland, same with plantera, and finally the moonlord could definitely be better. currently my favorite boss in the game is the empress of light just because it has real attack patterns that use skill to dodge and not just hoping that the boss doesn't fire 30,000 lasers at you

One thing I like about Golem is how small of an arena it is. I think if people are gonna rework the boss, they should play into the claustrophobia that the arena presents. Also, one way they could get around it for summoning him outside the temple would be to summon a giant box of fire that you are forced to fight inside of.

Its cool and all but i think the bossfight would look way better if they made his body a little bit tankier and gave him heavier but more natural in a sense animations because as it is right now most of his animation like walking and throwing stuff looks like the just move the entire arm or legs and it feels really barebones and weird it just kinda looks like a fan made pixel animation tbh
One thing you didn’t show is that the Mod also reworks the Golem weapons as well as some Pre-Golem weapons. Like the Chlorophyte Weapons, Morning Star etc etc. Some really amazing reworks
