I have to admit, this mod really has it's hooks in me now
with the infernum playthroughs ive done, forgotten shadow of calamitas was ALWAYS one of the worst bosses for me, plantera isnt too bad, as the arebalest makes early hardmode easier
Hey Chippy, The SHPC was a rare legendary drop and it came from the destroyer
Chippy, in the Plantera fight, I noticed the SHPC's explosive attack was destroying Plantera. The boss was staying in the lingering explosion because they don't move quickly here!
Edit: The Serpentine wasn't as powerful as the explosions.
If you have Lui AFK Reborn mod installed, there is an item called the Arena Platform builder which is really handy, I suggest installing it. Also, potions are infinite at a 30 stack in calamity.

You should be good until right before moon lord. Most of the bosses are pretty manegable.
Yay! He tried slithering eels! But yeah I think it's a bit outclassed. Serpentine probably needs a nerf.
Btw though, the large bulbs in the arena itself function as plantera bulbs.

I magic weapon that helped me through a lot of hardmode is the Hadal Urn, a upgrade to the pre-hardmode weapon the Black Anurian, you make it with materials from the Abyss. I think you should definitely check it out! 😁

Not particularly helpful now, but those big round bulbs in the pre-made Plantera arena are fully functional Plantera bulbs. No need to lead it on a goose chase

I didnt like leviathan too much, siren/anahtia was nice but the leviathans attacks weren't that fun in my opinion
You get a similar irl adrenaline spike for SCal.. except it's probably x10 as potent. Keep it up Chippy!
You should upgrade the mana flower to a magnet flower since it gives 12% mana cost reduction over mana flower's 8%

That cherry blossom thing you found in the jungle has a certain item that transforms when thrown into the water. It is purely vanity though.
The main reason the serpentine worked so well was because of the high pierce and many different segments it just destroys each segment all at once making it look like the I frames have been removed

I love how Chippy still keeps using potions of recall instead of his icy mirror.
how much life regen can you get ? in this episode i saw :
Regenator + Silent Bloom Stone , can you get a life regen armor set ? or more life reg accesoirs ?

some other weapons i'd recommend trying out are the art attack, gleaming magnolia, shifting sands, everglade spray, frigidflash bolt, and the arctic bear paw. most are probably way behind, but good to check out.
the wiki says "The SHPC used to be a Malice Mode exclusive drop from The Destroyer. Before that, it used to be a 1% Revengeance Mode exclusive drop from The Destroyer." so you're correct in that it used to be a special drop, but i think its the halibut cannon that dropped from the abyss area.
The boss song (Raw, Unfiltered Calamity) is one of my most favorites. The D.o.G songs are my two top favorites.
