I suck at fighting the destroyer sooo much lol
for me it a wasted of time
I really loved magic missile staff when I picked and used one for the first time and seriously this wheapon for me feels more like a downgrade. It feels like the high area, high damage, tracking projectile was abandoned instead of making a real upgrade of the spirit of the weapon.
On my switch before 1.4 the sky fracture shot like a mega shark one after the other

played mage for the first time this was the first weapon i made going into hardmode. made life pretty easy
skyfracture is best single target mage weapon pre mech, crystal serpent is best one for bosses (i would say tied with meteor for destroyer)(also an amazing weapon for pre mech duke because it destroys his projectiles so much), and meteor staff is best for hordes and such
always loved the sky fracture; how could I possibly turn down the actual gate of babylon?
Is it only the hollow desert that you can get light shards from
As a person who played a mage playthrough, this ruined the original weapon by taking away the homing, nerfing the damage and
I have been told that the sky fracture is about as op as old onyx blaster.
It was just never worth getting 16 souls for…

Personally never knew it existed for my 3 years of experience and a mage user.
If your aim is bad (like mines) then dont use it, just better go with metor staff/crystal serpent. This cant even defeat the destroyer as easily as its counterparts. Ignore the numbers/stats, check how it fits you.
Progression weapon.. not a game changer.
I hate it. It was the first weapon I went for in my expert mode mage run. the projectiles spawn at at awkward position behind the player making it rare to hit all 3 swords in cramped space.
Useless Fact: If you fire the Sky Fracture while the cursor is literally infront of the face or the body of your character, the projectiles' trajectory will always be parallel to each other

I've always used the Sky Fracture and I've never really used Meteor Staff

Oh man, i remember that this weapon was like a blessing to me when i was new to the game. It helped me deal with The Twins for the first time in my life.

crystal serpent is WAY easier to get than the sky fracture but yeah i still prefer to get the sky fracture cause i love it
Idk if this is common but my hallow is always in the goofiest spots where it just doesn’t do anything examples are my hallow spawing in the corruption and jungle instead of like a forest
