Aren't the seals supposed to let you go straight to lower floors?
This looks like soo much fun! I always enjoy watching you.
You had the quest to kill enemies, i beleive you killed enough for that allready. Perhapse that person offers a better weapon aswell as soon as you turn the quest in?
You can press R to transfer a stack of item you can see it on the inventory
dont forget your tools have some magical abilities.

On most of the inventory screens you can hit "R" to move the entire stack of a selected item or "T" to auto move stacks that already exist in the storage
Using the magical tool ability also helps reduce stamina use because it uses magic instead
And the seed crafting is so you can replant one time crops without having to spend the money on the seeds at the market
The quests from the villagers also can net you more money or free upgrades to tools/weapons
Katherine there is inventory management in your storage shed. If you look at the bottom of the screen when you are in the shed it gives you the keys to use to transfer stacks.
You do have an elevator for the mines. You just have to click on the seal on any floor where you have added it and you can be transported to any floor where the seal has been added.
A few things: mine floors 11 up have iron ore deposits that look similar to the coal deposits in color vut same shape as the copper.
Select the seal pedestal on floor 1 to go to any floor you yave unlocked with a seal already. Allows you to bypass walking through them.
Keep all bug drops (dust, frog sweat, etc) to use on craft items
The sound effect for eating at about the 52 minute mark really reminds me of the one for Klingon disruptors from ST: ToS : D
Making the iron ore more distinctive would definitely be a nice QoL improvement
