  1. I am glad I did not decide to compile the whole soundtrack earlier as version 1.4.1 added a new track which would make the video incomplete. Anyhow, enjoy the gorgeous tunes and remember – a guide on enabling Otherworldly tracks in-game (also made by me) can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70vgyoPVmhk

  2. Today I beat the eye of cthulu in one try, was scared shitless to try but managed to take him down with an iron bow and fire arrows, as well as a full iron armor

  3. Console Title gives me nostalgia from first playing Terraria. I'd do anything to play this game for the first time again without spoiling myself…

  4. This is more nostalgic to me than goddam Minecraft…1050 hours of my life listening to this beautiful soundtrack, it's a joy of life

  5. I've been thinking about how Terraria and Path of Exile have similiar plotlines. You humbly begin fighting against a corrupting magic force, and eventually descend into the "mountain" to fight a cthonic beast. While in POE you go on afterwards to fight the equivalent of the hallow in their world with innocence, the death of either the Wall of Flesh (POEs Nightmare) and Innocence in POE, this causes a disruption in the world and the forces of light and dark that were originally held back are able to rebel and wreak havoc on the planet again.

Its a very similiar plot structure in order to introduce their NG+ concepts. These games also have very gnostic themes, similiar to Noita, where you begin a descent into the underworld but it doesn't just end there like a typical dungeon crawl, you are then forced to fight your way back up to Heaven ("As above, so below") and fight even the Gods of good. Thus you are able to bring a median compromise to the Earth, balance is constantly seen as the highest Good in a lot of post Tolkien fantasy.

Just some interesting shower thoughts for this and other games.

  6. I've listen to all of these except otherworldly and I am not proud to say, but I can namer every song. (Not otherworldly)
