Ever since I uploaded my wand of sparking run to YouTube back in 2020, I’ve been getting a ton of suggestions for a Gungnir-only run. And up until recently I didn’t think it would be possible and worth a video. However, as of 1.4.4 this thing has been buffed. But will it be enough to take on Terraria Master Mode? Today we’re going to find out!

On for the worthy legendary mode skeletron prime can mess up your land, because it's bomb destroyed tiles and and also does not go through platforms.

Gungnir is out here beating the game with an early-hardmode spear in master mode and i can’t even beat the game as mage on classic.
Ngl I would've enjoyed watching you shred through pre hardmode, then suddenly struggle in hardmode
Its a "spear run", so Gungir is considered a spear.
"Can you beat the game with x weapon" challenges have never felt the same after seeing the entire game beaten without cheese or DoT effects using nothing but copper shortsword. The guy took 8 hours damaging down Golem and basically not getting hit the whole time, and to beat Moon Lord he used Shrimpy Truffle to outspeed the tongue over the course of several days.
Right now he's streaming himself killing ML with a lawnmower of all things. If that's possible I'm pretty sure literally any weapon can beat the game if you have enough patience.

I’m doing the random weapons challenge and I got a slap hand for destroyer
I thought this was going to be a batshit insane run where he starts by getting the npc combat book one by blood moon fishing and he kills the wall of flesh this way, then he finds the wizard, buys the tome, shimmer transmutes it, beats skeletron prime, and then crafts the gungnir

is it just me or is whenever you fight Skeletron at least one fallen star hits him (in my most recent play through he got hit the moment the fight started)
