So im building my house and I thought some trees at the sides would look nice but somehow they are jot growing, I investigated and found out tree saplings need at least 3 blocks/tiles for them to grow, but they mine are not, anyone know how I can fix this??

I could be wrong, but I think it’s because of the background walls. I think you have to grow the trees first, then place the background walls later.
Remove the background walls, you can put them back after they grow.
