I think so, I remember the dragon tooth hammer being better than the galaxy hammer, but the infinity sword / hammer is best

i wouldnt say its strictly better, sdv fighting system encourages more a well rounded build than a 118% attack based one, now the dragon tooth weaponry are far from a bad weapon, but i think the galaxy series have an edge because of the speed

Yes it’s stronger, but you can upgrade Galaxy sword to be better.
