Leave some grass so that you can use it for your animals once you get them, build a silo before winter so you can save up hay, the wiki is very helpful, get the training rod it’s only about 25g and will help you learn fishing mechanics, and always have some food on you so you don’t pass out. Have fun it’s a blast:)

Use the wiki for info. This game is very deep and complicated. No shame in using the wiki. It also has a lot of spoiler tags and you can expand them by clicking. So you don’t have to worry…
Just explore, do whatever you want. There is not really a right or wrong to play… The game will somewhat teach you, and send you in the right directions…
There are also very few deadlines. You can take more than endless years to complete some tasks/quests so dont worry haha you have endless time. Most quests will never fail and you have all the time in the world haha
(Playing with friends is even more fun)

Join Joja Mart after completing the bundles from Boiler room, Vault, Pantry, and craft room. If you complete all rooms you can’t join Joja Mart because they will kick Joja out of town.

once u get to the mines save all your earth crystals and quartz ! also keep your fiber and leave the grass on your farm 🫶

You only get one shot to play without spoilers or tips or wiki reading. I suggest going through at least a year blindly, why not.
Worst thing that could happen is you buy seeds late in a season and the plants die before harvest. Buying some other things like weapons can be wasteful, but most tools or buildings or fishing rods can be money-making.

When you get either a *prismatic shard* or a *dinosaur egg,* save them in a chest and ask here what to do with them. You will receive helpful instructions.
Either that, or just play with the wiki open.

I highly recommend the Wiki, there is a looooooot of stuff to explore and it will help you immensly.
You’re going to need a lot of chests, I recommend to place 1 at the beach and 1 at the mines (After day 6) put your items for each in there, you will need the open inventory space.
Early on fishing is your best income, I usually fish the first 6 days and then head into the mines, for money, minerals and Amethysts (I’m a sucker for Abigail and she loves them).
There are a lot of good mods, that add QOL improvements, my personal favourite shows the location of people on the map, so you don’t have to look randomly or learn the schedule (some people like it, I find it annoying haha)

When you get your 1st >!dinosaur egg!< drop it to >!your coop incubator to get a dinosaur and more dino eggs!<.
When you get your >!ancient seed!< save it until>! your greenhouse is restored!<.
Otherwise have fun and don’t listen to anyone!
