Anyone know why my pond wouldn’t be considered an infinite water source? Whenever I take water from it, the water level at that spot is lower and I have to temporarily place dirt blocks underneath to even it out again.

  1. Is your tps lagging? If you have atleast two water source blocks with a 1 block gap between their path of flow it will cause a infinite water source

Is every block a water source block? Idk, I’m trying my best sorry if that’s not the issue

  3. Did you fill the pond by putting water on flat dirt, then breaking the dirt so the water falls?

if the layer(s) underneath the top arent source blocks, then the top layer wont properly replenish itself

put kelp on each block, bonemeal until it reaches the top, then break the kelp. should convert them all to source blocks and fix the issue

Use kelp on every block on the bottom and build it up to the water’s surface in every space. Boom. Watwr source blocks.

  7. If the water at the bottom is not water sources, but instead flowing water, then the top layer will not replenish.

To fix this, you could either add kelp to each block, converting the flowing water to a source, or drain and refill the pond one layer at a time by placing water along the perimeter of each layer
