My cats keep getting burned up and the sounds they make break my heart
I have this smelter in the village I built and the cats keep getting into the lava cauldrons and burning up. How can I prevent having to listen to them burn to death without turning the sound off?

I think you can move the cauldrons up 1 block, or the lava setup with dripstones down 1 block.
Try putting trapdoors in front of the cauldrons (including the empty space and dripstone) so that they don’t wander into the lava.
