Absolutely no, u gotta make few swords each with enchant for each type of mob or you not gonna deal enough damage with sharpness!!

I did a regular one on normal difficulty in unenchanted iron armor. It seemed easy. I’m guessing using bad omen for the higher difficulty is when you need better stuff.

well you don’t need an elytra. or a clock? i whenever i go i take armour. iron minimum. shield, tools food and torches. a shulker is a good idea

Bring some milk or honey for the poison in case you have bog skeletons. Also a shield.
