Why bother? You can get so many good ones for free!

Yes this.
I would love it if they introduce the Marketplace on Java and structured things to make it easy to install mods.
My 8 year old loves the create mod, but the Prisim launcher and understanding the dependencies is all a bit too complex for him.
Even if it was just the existing mods for free or they charged a nominal amount to make it easy to support the developers.
Edit – The existence of a marketplace does not stop free mods.
Some of the biggest open source projects put themselves on marketplaces to reach new audiances and charge either as a way to fund themselves or cover the cost of putting it on the market place.
Also he is 8, he can use the Bedrock marketplace but he might watch beardie and sitting with him to get the exact versions of mod packs that are all compatible takes ages and is beyond him.

LMAO, You must really like burning money on low quality despite there being some pretty decent quality shaders for FREE !!.
Using prism launcher, you can browse and install shaders and mods instantly and then just play with them.

Everyone in the comments complaining about OPs question… many people have young children that play and want easy access to mods without installing OR are limited to devices like consoles that make it much harder to download shaders.
So yes, a market place version would give a lot of people an easy way to access this if mojang just made it easy for us; not everyone games how you do.
