Move the wooden beams out by one block to add some depth. Also, maybe push the doors from the second image to the back half of the block.

* Add some depth, the walls are quite flat. Simple and easy way would be just to put trapdoors up the wooden supports.
* Add some contrast, it’s quite monochrome. Maybe do a gradient on the walls from deepslate through tuff to cobblestone?
* Balconies, dormers (the little rooflets that stick out of the main roof and cover a window), maybe a chimney.
