  1. The dev kept working on free updates for years and years. He could have abandoned it after launch, or made a Terraria 2 and 3 and 4. If he had, the game probably wouldn't have been one of the most popular Steam games of all time.

  2. i HIGHLY suggest listening to more of this game's OST, almost every area in the game has its own unique "biome music" and so the soundtrack kinda sounds like every song is completely different with no real cohesion but they are all AWESOME

  3. Underground is my second favorite theme in Terraria after Jungle. I live how someone made a super funny a capella version of it, and someone else made a mod to replace the actual track with this a capella version.

  4. The shades were on, I repeat, the Shades are ON!
    Glad you enjoyed the songs!
Personally, I really enjoy the OST that plays when it Heavily Thunderstorms, and the Moon Lords’ Theme. Both great. Honestly, it’s all great.

  5. If you do more Terraria music going forward (which I hope for), there's one thing you should know. You'll probably get requests for both regular Terraria tracks as well as Terraria Calamity tracks. Terraria Calamity is a mod for Terraria, however the mods soundtrack and composer are both loved and are as amazing as the base Terraria OST, however it has a very different composition. I would love to songs from both to be covered as they are absolutely incredible. For base Terraria I want to see you react to the Overworld Day theme, its the quintessential Terraria track. And for Terraria Calamity, I would love to see Scourge of The Universe, aka Devourer of Gods nonstop mix, which is a 3-5ish phase bossfight with all fight tracks put into one song by the composer!

  6. So you've dug all the way down to the bottom of the world (it's a 2D sidescroller btw) and you grabbed yourself a voodoo doll of the Guide, the first NPC you met, that dropped from a demon that was carrying it in his paws. There's LOTS of Lava and Ash around, and you throw this voodoo doll in the lava and you see the message "Guide'sName was slain…" and suddenly Boss2 starts playing as this wall starts approaching you. It's a wall made out of flesh and it has eyes and a gaping maw attached to it and it starts spitting blood and stuff at you. Should you prevail against it, the whole world changes, irreversibly. MUCH harder enemies start to spawn, and the wall itself drops a shiny golden hammer that is capable of breaking those evil shrines you saw earlier. You thought you were the master of the world, and that nothing was strong enough to beat you? haha think again. The first enemy you meet will likely kill you in 4-5 hits flat. Before you killed the Wall of Flesh, most enemies could only hit you for like 5-10 damage at most, though most stuff just hit you for 1-2. Now you're taking 50s.

  7. Terraria music is one that is very much worth listening on a loop one-two times due to its natural length ( and to get a better feel for how it is to listen too it consistently)
Honestly the music is a genre of its own, with a popular mod, the Terraria Calamity Mod, in turn making a genre of its own inside that genre
Its just so iconic for Terraria fans, much like C418's music is for Minecraft or the classic tunes of Mario or Sonic

  8. Interesting time to be listening to Terraria music, as the next update will be adding a bunch more songs to the soundtrack so every single boss has its own unique theme. As a result, "Boss 2" will probably renamed to "Wall of Flesh", since The Twins (the other boss to use the track) are getting their own theme.

  9. Man, Terraria has carved its mark into my soul. It is a sandbox. It is an RPG. It is a platformer. It is a shooter. It is just about anything you want it to be, despite a large sum of the game being outside of the final boss progression system. You can fish, you can build, you can play golf, you can even come back around Halloween and Christmas for small little seasonal changes. And after completing the game, there are several higher difficulties and special world seeds to mix up the experience. There's no game quite like Terraria, and if the regular game is getting old, you can get tModloader free from steam if you have the game on steam- and with it, you can transcend this already great masterpiece into something you never thought possible.

  10. Seeing as you listened the underground theme, I wonder if the three mixed variations (Underground Corruption, Underground Hallow and Underground Crimson) are on the table for a future video.

  11. If I were to suggest any other tracks from Terraria, I would have to suggest… the entire soundtrack. No seriously! You gotta listen to the entire thing, not to mention there's a Terraria Otherworld soundtrack from the devs as well. If you do want some specific ones, Plantera is a great track, and the Crimson and Corruption tracks could be great to react to in a video together as they relate to a biome in the game that your world only spawns with one of between the 2. Also would have to recommend the Terraria Calamity mod Soundtrack.

  12. is boss 2 for like the twins/skeletron prime tier? WoF i think has it's own theme but the background for the video is the underworld

  13. youve gotta hear some of the endgame boss music too, theres some wacky stuff in there. terraria's soundtrack is really varied, but it all uses a mix of orchestration and chiptune in a way no other game has ever quite replicated, at least as far as i know. i'd recommend the empress of light theme and the moon lord theme, they can both be considered a sort of final boss and each have some of the wildest sounds in the soundtrack.
