Yeah, the Piglin Brute is a reference to the Captainsparklez music video, and it's actually not a reference to the vanilla "Piglin Brute" since the one in the mod was made before minecraft updated the nether
The bosses probably have so much health because of them not scaling properly to Master Mode properly, but considering their damage did scale correctly, maybe they'll be moved to different tiers? I could be wrong, because back then they had the same issue to a lesser extent.
In 1.3 I fought against the Lost Siblings in the hardest difficulty of Shadows of Abaddon; Novaniel was a brutal fight not only because of the damage but the fight actually gave you a time limit with a timer on top of the screen and if the timer reaches zero you instantly die. It was a banger fight but it's easily one of the most stressful modded fights I've ever did.
