None of them are overpowered. They're barely noticeable. Hyperbole just makes you look fake.
Lets not forget throwing clemintator in shimmer gives you terraformer which gets you 33% chance of not wasting solutions

I remember hearing about the shimmer buffs and I wanted to get them. So I spent 10 hours mining through the entire section of my world that the wiki said the shimmer could spawn in. I looked literally everywhere for it, never found it. I later discovered that I could never find it because I was playing on the Calamity mod which was 1 version before the shimmer was added. There never was a shimmer and I wasted many hours.
I made my main world with my friend just weeks before the shimmer update so we don't have it in our world 🙁

You said they are owerpowered but didn't mention how much do they give you. Ambrosia gives miserable 5 percent buffs. I can call wooden hammer an owerpowered weapon cause it has damage. Yeah, it's low but it exists

These upgrades are not overpowered by design but you gotta get the attention in the first 3 seconds i guess. They're noticeable at best on challenging playthroughs. If you play yur bosses poorly you'll end up dead nonetheless.
