Even though I have about four different saves and 600 hours I never actually bothered to finish this quest. It was always just such a slog and I got close so many times (for example getting to floor 85-90 and then the day ending) that I just found it hard to get the motivation. But I decided to randomly try my luck since it was raining on both my regular and ginger island farm and so I didn’t have any other pressing chores. I got into the cavern by 8am and it was only a neutral luck day, I had no spicy eels and I was probably only on floor 30 by 2pm but by some stroke of luck and about 80 bombs I made it lol!

Oh and I also got my first ever >!Frog egg!< so maybe my neutral luck day was secretly a lucky one!
I used 25 red bombs and rock candy the first time I got to level 100
