FEATURE IN THE MAKING… | MINECRAFT MONTHLY

Inventory full again? Oh hey. Hello and welcome to Minecraft Monthly, the only show on YouTube. As far as I know. As you already know, Tricky Trials is finally out. But we’ve got even more up our sleeves. We’ll reveal something that our developers are working on right now. We’ll also be talking summer celebrations and show you a true classic coming to Minecraft. I’ll tell you what it is as soon as I can remember. But first, our trickiest, and dare I say, trialiest, update ever is now available in Bedrock and Java. Let’s celebrate Tricky Trials with a fun montage of my best bits in action. We’ve added new hostile mobs like the breeze. See, here I go… Oh, that didn’t go well. Items like the Wind Charge. Huh, that didn’t go well at all. And the mace. Look, okay, this update’s a lot more tricky than I remember. Could we, um, maybe show a montage of its lighter side? Ahh, much better. What’s your favorite Tricky Trials feature? Let us know in the comments. Oh, still to come, I’ll be revealing a Minecraft feature that our developers are developing as we speak. Let’s cut straight to it. Wait, no, that’s the wrong footage. Sorry, pig. Summer news now. And surprisingly, the news isn’t that I deeply regret this new look already. From July 2nd through 16th, you can get up to 75% off selected items on Minecraft Marketplace. Play your way through adventures for every play style, so long as your play style isn’t, "I don’t play Minecraft." If you’re a visionary creator, why not explore the two epic starter packs, pets and morphs? If you’re a fearless survivor, you’ll find a free, yes, FREE, world based on the Tricky Trials update. Or perhaps you’d like to chomp down on the Pac-Man DLC that’s going to be included with the Marketplace Pass subscription. Um, please don’t actually eat it. This will be a summer of trying new things and discovering your way to play. I spent last summer wishing I’d used a sun cream that didn’t attract bees. So this sounds like a massive improvement. Still to come, we reveal the in progress feature for Minecraft. Is it real-life wasps in every game box? Let’s hope not. Other block news now. And have you ever heard of a video game called Tea-Trice? Oh, Tetris. Such a classic. And now it’s arrived for Minecraft. Yes, the game that made sure I spent my entire teens staring at a Game Boy screen is now in Minecraft with the official Tetris add-on. Power up the tetramino generator and watch your biomes transform with falling tetraminos. Mine these tetraminos for glittering Mino shards that can be used to craft Tetris-inspired equipment and tools, some of which clear entire lines of blocks. But please don’t use those around my builds. Come on, give me the long tetramino already. Vu, stop playing Tetris! In a minute. Aghh, so close. Character Creator News. First off, we’re celebrating the launch of Tricky Trials by adding a free item, the trial top. Yes, we’re giving away more free stuff. As well as the trial top, you can also nab yourself a free trial mask. All you had to do was complete a simple Discord quest. Just one slight problem. The window to complete that quest was June 20th through 26th. But don’t worry, we’ve had such an awesome response to the Discord quest that we’ve decided to make the trial mask available to everyone on Minecraft marketplace. So go get it. Finally, let’s complete your outfit with the trial leggings. You can nab these on Minecraft marketplace too. Tell them Vu sent you. And nothing will happen. Sorry. It’s finally time to reveal the feature our developers are working on for Minecraft. It’s an item. But first, this emergency public safety announcement. Every year, Minecraft adventurers grossly overestimate how much room there is in their inventory to carry stuff. Please, hold the door. Hold the door, please! Luckily, the Mojang Studio’s developers have thought of a fix for this problem. Destroy every door in the world. Eh, I mean, add a Minecraft item that lets you carry more items. That’s right. Bundles. Get ready to optimize your inventory with… Bundles. We first introduced this inventory space-saving item at Minecraft Live 2020, and now it’ll be easier for you to add, view, or withdraw items from your bundle. Keep an eye out for bundles coming to Bedrock betas and previews on Minecraft.Net. Have a great summer, everyone. See you in a few months.

Minecraft Monthly is in vacation prep mode, when we all take part in the beloved tradition of hiding Vu’s beach hat. But before that wholesome fun, we have some major news, including the newest iteration of a super mysterious yet familiar feature, which you’ll get to test soon! But that’s not all:

– Tricky Trials is out now in Bedrock and Java Edition
– The Summer Celebration is coming to Minecraft Marketplace
– We released the Tetris add-on for Bedrock Edition
– The Trial Top, Trial Mask, and Trial Leggings are now available indefinitely on Minecraft Marketplace

  1. you need to know no one cares or likes marcetplace in bedrock edition java is so much better because its the minecraft imo bedrocks marketplace changes game minecraft to another thing

  2. Now I wonder if they will make the Twitch & Tiktok capes available for a short amount of time again for people that missed out on it before.

  3. I genuinely have no clue what could've taken Bundles so long to be added. I thought their functionality was completed ages ago (or it at least appeared that way), and haven't they been accessible in Java via commands for ages? What's so tricky to figure out about them?
