Best Endgame Summoner Loadout – Terraria 1.4

so you want to know the best in-game summoner loadout on terraria 1.4 well you’ve come to the right place today we will be going through the best weapons armor and accessories to use when choosing the summoner class in terraria 1.4 so without further ado let’s get straight into the video the summoner class in terraria is quite fun to play as you can summon minions who will fight enemies for you so all you have to do is dodge the enemy attacks alongside minions you can also use weapons from other classes such as the zenith from the melee class or the sdmg from the ranger class this will further increase your damage output making bossfights easier and faster to complete so to start off with the best armor set to use as a summoner is the stardust armor the full end game armor set supplies your character with 38 defense and grants the ability to summon an extra 5 minions making this the perfect armor set for summoner players the full set also spawns in a stardust guardian which will defend you from hostile enemies and bosses the stardust guardian is passive until an enemy enters within a 30 tile radius which it will then charge towards the enemy and deal 28 to 30 damage with each of its rapid punches an extra bonus on top of all the other great things this armor set gives you is that you gain an extra 66 damage from each of your spawned minions the full set of star dust armor requires a total of 36 lumenok bars and 45 stardust fragments to craft you can obtain the stardust fragments from defeating the stardust pillar and the enemies around it in the lunar event the luminite can be acquired upon defeating the moonlord and crafted into luminaire bars at an ancient manipulator which is dropped by the ancient cultist boss when using this class i would recommend using the bullitching table as this will increase your summoning capacity by 1 for 10 minutes this item can be found in the dungeon and it can also be sold by the witch doctor for 10 gold as long as the player is in hard mode and the wizard npc is present now onto which weapons i recommend using as a summoner in terraria the zenith kaleidoscope rainbow crystal staff and either the terra prisma stardust dragon staff or the stardust cell staff these weapons if all used correctly can work well together generating a very high damage per second output [Music] the summoner’s class is best to use after entering hard mode as there are many more options open for you to use such as a better variety of armor weapons and accessories to use with your character there are a few accessories i recommend using when playing as an end game summoner and these are any wings of your choice as these help you traverse the map quicker and avoid enemy attacks the destroyer’s emblem to summon his emblem the necromantic scroll the celestial shell the terra spark boats the papyrus scarab and the pygmy necklace not all of these accessories will fit on your character at the same time so i’ll leave it up to you to choose which ones you think will best fit your play style the accessories i use as a summoner vary from supplying your character with more minion summons to giving the user small buffs to increase the performance and overall usability of the glass if you have any questions about any of the accessories or weapons please leave a comment as i will be happy to reply to you and help you the best i can so how does the summoner class before well i’d say pretty good i will defeat some bosses for you in master mode to show you how the summoner class performs [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] okay so now you’ve seen how this class performs you may see why it’s a pretty good choice to go with the kaleidoscope is a newly released weapons to 1.4 journeys and updates it is a post-plant era whip which has a 25 chance to be dropped by the empress of light boss when using this whip along with others in the game it causes the last enemy hit by the weapon to be targeted by your minions making this a good targeting tool it also increases the damage your minions will do to the target which is a nice bonus the best modifier for the kaleidoscope is legendary the terra prisma is another drop from the impressive light but only when all the damage dealt to her is done at daytime this can be difficult as she becomes enraged at daytime just like plantera does when leaving the underground jungle this awesome summoner’s weapon spawns a copy of itself which floats around the player just like other minions when an enemy comes into sight the sword dashes over to it and rapidly attacks to protect you from the unwanted enemies the best modifier for the terror prisma is ruthless the rainbow crystal staff is a post moon lord summoners weapon this weapon summons a minion which acts like a century and it lasts for two minutes this is a great weapon to use as it deals very good damage to single and multiple targets another great thing about this weapon is that it doesn’t conflict your maximum minion capacity the crystal floats in the air when summoned and attacks enemies with coloured light beams this weapon can reach up to 60 tiles and targets the closest enemy to the century it is dropped by the moonlord with an 11 chance meaning that it may take a few attempts to obtain this item the best modifier for the rainbow crystal staff is ruthless the stardust dragon staff is a pre-moon lord summoner’s weapon which acts as an aerial melee weapon it summons a stardust dragon that attacks enemies on site this summon flies around the character and can even travel through blocks when used more than once the dragon adds segments to its body making it longer and deal much more damage this dragon hits enemies 10 times per second making the damage output very high for this summon the best modifier for this weapon is ruthless the stardust cell staff is also another great summoner’s weapon which is used by some players instead of the sardos dragon staff and the terror prisoner this weapon can be obtained at the same time as the stardust dragon staff and instead of summoning a dragon it summons a stardust cell this looks very similar to the stardust cell you fight when near the stardust pillar but trust me this one is friendly the stardust cells can teleport to enemies and shoot a mini version of itself at them dealing damage over time the cells can be stacked onto enemies dealing greater damage as time passes the damage can stack up to 100 damage per tick making this weapon another great one to go for the staff can be crafted from 18 stardust fragments and the best modifier for this summoner’s weapon is ruthless so that’s it for today’s summoner’s loadout if you did enjoy the video or if it helped you in any way please consider liking subscribing and turning on notifications so you don’t miss a future upload i hope this video helped you and i’ll see you in the next one [Music] you

  1. Good video but I say that is now melee-summoner loadout because it is not just summoner. I also recommend Valhalla knights set for both classes, more sentries and variety, and more melee DPS which might be better than your stardust armor.

  2. Honestly I kinda wish there was more options for summon weapons other then whips, like if the flails where summon weapons or something. Cause I when I use melee I use yo-yos and swords😅
