Have you ever saw some weird purple teeth that’s just glowing on underground? What about some weird looking eyeballs with red base? That’s what is known as “Altar”, or “Demon altar”. Technically each one have their own name: Corruption variant named Demon altar, and Crimson one named… Crimson altar. Well, I just call both of them “Demon altar”, or “altar”. While they mostly seem harmless, except when you take a punch to that thing… And, get this: If you punch the altar with some really strong hammer, it might spit out really shiny ore!… Only if your world is in hardmode, that is.
