If you use the new lichen block in the latest 21w03a snapshot, you can actually place water in the nether in vanilla Minecraft without any mods!

This is a glitch in the latest 1.17 cave and cliff snapshot that will probably be fixed in the next upcoming beta’s from Mojang so make the most of it whilst you can!

Let me know what you think of this bug in minecraft!

  1. As I've watched more videos about this update, I've been consistently surprised how many people mispronounce "lichen", possibly just through lack of knowledge of what it actually is. For those who didn't know, it's pronounced something similar to "like-un", the "ch" making a hard /k/ sound.
