sty Valley is full of many unique colorful festivals that are by far the highlight of any season they are all great but which one is the best in this video we’ll be ranking all the festivals from sort of fun all the way to never ever miss this ranking is based on the festival’s main event the exclusive items you can get as well as the overall Vibe which festival is your favorite let me know in the comments below and stick around to and to see my number one at number 12 we got the Festival of ice you can buy some cooked food and can stop by the traveling Merchant to pick up a rarecrow for a reasonable 5,000 gold the hardcore Fishers are going to hate me for this ranking since the main event year is the infamous fishing competition catch five fish to claim victory and you’ll win some tackles and a pretty sharp sailor’s hat in the following Years you’ll get a prze of 2,000 gold for your Victory unfortunately for this Festival there’s new fishing contests in town the Festival of ice is definitely sort of fun and I would recommend seeing it at least once but it’s definitely one of those I won’t visit if I have other stuff going on in 11th place we have the flower dance and I won’t lie this is definitely one of the cute of festivals out there Pierre sets up his spring booth and stocks pretty flower themed decorations along with a rare Crow If you’re looking to collect all eight of them now that’s already a good enough reason to attend this fastival but if you have at least four hearts with one of the Valley singles you can get an entire extra Heart by asking them to the flower dance this is a very nice boost if you’re looking to marry someone early in a new playthrough the flower dance is one of the cutest cutscenes with all of the town’s folk so why why is it so low on this list well if you don’t have enough hearts with a marriage candidate they will outright refuse to dance with you this hits pretty hard for the new farmer as they slowly realize no one wants to dance with them o i rate it kind of fun but make sure you have a dance partner in 10th place we have this spooky Spirits Eve Festival I very fond of this Festival as every decoration brings a spooky Halloween Vibe you can grab another rarecrow for 5,000 gold and a few strange decorations that would work very well if you had a little spooky themed section on your farm the main event is a haunted maze that is extremely fun to complete especially the first time you encounter it the maze itself is actually quite short but it’s dark and full of dead ends naturally the town’s people all have funny things to say Abigail could not finish the maze because she’s scared of spiders which I guess is UN standable there’s a hidden tunnel over here and when you get to the end you will be rewarded with a golden pumpkin the golden pumpkin is a loved gift for everyone but you can also use it to make a witch’s hat or even sell it for 2,500 gold golden pumpkins are kind of rare so it’s all up to you how you use your elusive prize I rank this one real spooky fun dance of the Moonlight jellies dances in at Ninth Place and yes this was another very hard decision this Festival has the best soundtrack of them all and there’s a store here with some very unique decorations you can also buy some seafoam pudding to help you out with fishing but best of all during this Festival you will get a special event where the Moonlight jellies will swim around in the ocean and give off a comforting glow that is lovely relaxing Into Summer if you are not new to my channel you probably have heard this Festival song in quite a few of my videos it’s just so good I usually just attend this Festival because of the beautiful and relaxing atmosphere people will say this green jelly is extremely rare but it always swims up to the player which is a very cute addition I rank it light fun since there’s not much else to do besides that coming in eighth place we have the Feast of winter star on the 18th of winter mayor Lewis will send you some mail telling you who you need to get a gift for gifting that gift counts five times the normal amount of hearts and will seriously boost your relationship with whomever was lucky enough to get you as their secret scent I mean Gift Giver person of course Pierre sets up a booth with some surprisingly overpriced decorations I sometimes forget to check the mail and have no idea who I’m supposed to give a gift to so I usually end up speaking to everyone in town don’t make my mistake check your mail I gave this one the rank of snow fun because it’s one of the best events that bring the community closer together next up we have our first Festival that was added in the 1.6 update the Trout Derby is a 2-day fishing mini Festival that starts on the 20th of Summer it’s held in the CET Forest near the river below marne’s Ranch and lost until 2: a.m. on the 21st you’ll have the chance to fish the Waters of the sinab river for rainbow trout if you’re lucky you can get a golden tag as well to the festival Booth to exchange your tax for cool prizes such as the tent kit bucket hat and mounted trout I give this one very cool because it’s really great having new dedicated fishing event the egg Festival lands at number six on this list Pier sells some decorations as well as the exclusive strawberry seeds which is one of the more valuable spring crops to grow the main event is the much anticipated egg hunt you’ll have have to find at least nine eggs before the time runs out to beat Abigail and claim this sweet Straw Hat this can be kind of tricky sometimes so do check out my guide on the egg hunt if you’re having trouble in the following Years you’ll earn a measy 1,000 gold for this Victory and the eggs are on different places the egg hunt is fun and all but the strawberry seeds are what places this fesal so high on the list stories can regrow so be sure to save your normal quality Harvest for preserve jars to maximize your earnings I even planted a bunch of them on my Ginger Island Farm I rate this one most excellent in fifth place we have the all new squid Fest like the Trout Derby this Festival lost for two full days starting on the 12th of winter bust out your finest fishing rod and establish yourself as the valley squid specialist once you’ve snagged your catches you can trade them in at this cute booth for a variety of prizes in different tiers your squid counter resets each day so to obtain all the prizes you’ll have to catch a whopping eight squid on the 12th and 10 on the 13th to make this easier use a bait maker and put a squid inside prizes include the squid kit and the Art of crabing this mini Festival is another very welcome addition to the valley and it gives the stardy fishing experts another chance to prove their metal I give this one extra cool just because it takes place in the freezing winter just outside the podiums now in fourth we have the night market this used to be the only Festival that lasted longer than a single day but this one still holds a hi position because there’s a lot going on there’s quite a lot of stuff that you can buy as well from paintings to more unique decorations the Magic Paint store sells different items on each day that you can visit here are my favorites on the 15th you can buy a stone frog statue on the 16th you can buy a suit of armor and a stone parrot statue and on the 17th you can buy the stone Al statue be on the lookout as well for a mermaid boat with a simple puzzle play the notes in the correct order to be rewarded with a shiny Pearl they even have free coffee which could have easily landed this festival at number one for the main event you can enter a submarine and dive into the depths of the ocean here you can fish and catch rare fish exclusive to the depths this is where you can catch the blob fish which is one of my favorite little Derpy Fish you can turn these into a mosque for your scarecrows the Night Market has a nice variety of stuff which earns it a ranking of amazing coming in third we have luau this event basically revolves around a big pot of soup where everyone in town brings an ingredient to toss into the soup if you bring a high quality ingredient the governor will be most pleased and your friendship rating will go up by 120 points with every single towns person this is about half a heart for everyone in town so yeah I always attend this Festival no matter what getting everyone to maximum Hearts is quite a tough task and this makes it just that little bit easier here’s a small list of which items will get you the best possible result there are others that work as well but the these are just some of the easier ones to get or if you just want to use this Festival to mess with mayor Lewis there’s that as well this luau gets a ranking of good soup because it’s good and there is soup the stardy Valley Fair comes in second place and once again this Festival is just that little Step Above the Rest with its Superior variety of activities there’s the infamous grung display which you’ll need to stack with your highest quality items from a bunch of different categories I did make a video on how to easily come in first place in your first year so feel free to check that out to get your 1,000 star tokens these are the currency of the fair and you’ll want to get as many as you can play the strongman mini game where you will need to click at the exact right time or try your hand at fishing unfortunately the fishy catcher will not give you any fishing XP but you’ll get more tokens for perfect catches there’s also the slingshot mini game and it’s probably my favorite thing to do at this Festival you got shoot the targets but remember that accuracy is the most important thing if you get 100% accuracy you will get a huge four times bonus to your points so rather aim for that instead of trying to hit every single Target of course the fastest way to get more star tokens is gambling with this spinning wheel simply place a bat and if it lands on your color you will double your money but Lily isn’t gambling bad well it turns out green has a 75% chance of winning so yeah always bet on green once you’ve gathered as many Star tokens as you can carry exchange them for a real nice hat just kidding there’s another rare Crow but more importantly you can trade your tokens for a whole star drop definitely attend this Festival in your first year to get that stard drop and attend it again in following years just to have fun and play around this one gets a rank of Fairly awesome for its great variety and the fact that you can get a star drop this one should come as no surprise to my fellow PC players the all new desert Festival takes the number one spot on this list this Sandy Siesta kicks off in the Calico Desert from the 15th to 17th of spring like the star tokens of the fair you you can play an assortment of mini games to earn Calico eggs Willie gives some fishing challenges and even the adventurers Guild makes an appearance since this Festival is so close to the skull Tavern it’s in top spot because I really enjoy that you can get some specific items from spa shops like the pennies decoration for your house not only this but every day of the festival you can receive a free outfit from Emily that may even include cute hats that’s just one more reason to love this festival and have I mentioned you get a free Cactus with all of these wonderful rewards the desert Festival earns the rank of never ever Miss there’s quite a bit more to unpack here since the desert Festival
