In the first picture, is my attempt to make the top observer communicate with the below piston. I want to create a bamboo farm. I want the piston to be activated when the top observer notices the top of the sugar cane. I am not having a lot of luck.
In the second picture, you’ll see I made a simple sugarcane farm. This is easier because the observer is on the top of the piston. The issue is bamboo grows taller and I want it to only be chopped down once it is much higher.
Please would someone assist me.

You need the second from the top observer to touch the top one (detecting the bamboo).
In bedrock redstone goes down glass so just change all cobblestone to glass except bottom one and send signal down glass from top observer. Just put a wall between piston and top observer
