Haven’t seen anyone done this.

My system: Rename crafting materials or blocks in an anvil and it’s model changes! This doesn’t work with placed blocks, but it does work for items in item frames.

So I added a new item through renaming called the “Sconce”. For example, rename an iron nugget to “Sconce”, and the iron nugget item model changes to a brazier-type item that when placed on an item frame, perfectly slides over a wall torch, if one is inside the same block as item frames.

This is part of my tight vision for Minecraft that allows for more expressive freedom through added variants, while never compromising on the default functionality of anything in the game.

That’s why I invented this system to replace torches, that I will eventually expand to other stuff that can be played inside an item frame.

Players today already put item frames with items inside underneath torches in an attempt to decorate them. I just provided the next evolution of that.

My resource pack [Barely Default](https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/mickey-joes-relatively-improved-default) has been out! It’s my passion project, so please give it a try for your next build!

For your convenience I have a list of all the available namables in Barely Default [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kSjHyrZ60fVfBGip9Ho6QbFmMZ1CCtDfqIQLVj4hFvM/edit?usp=drivesdk).

This would be really cool as a mod. Could you post the models so I or someone else could make it a mod.
