Here ya go, replace the lamp with a line of redstone that connects to your contraption and you’ll be good, ignore the droppers at the bottom, they were for another help project. the piston under the sand is a regular piston and the one with the redstone block is as sticky piston.

You could invert the signal with a redstone torch. power the front side of a block with your button, place a redstone torch on the back of that block, and then connect the torch to your door.

Back your repeaters up a block and put a solid block with a Redstone torch between them and the pistons. They should stay closed and when you power the repeaters they will turn the torches off and make the pistons retract for the length of the input. What you use as your input is up to you.

I couldn’t tell you how to do it from memory, but look up how to make a T Flip Flop switch.
I know it’ll be a lot easier after 1.21 comes out.
