THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT THIS AMAZING MOD. Split is my favorite mod in all of tmodloader and I cant wait till they finally bring it to 1.4.
The music is amazing, the lore is surprisingly deep (And is actually discoverable in-game), the animations are so smooth, and none of the bosses are really evil which I am a huge fan.
Thankfully, the Devs of the split mod have announced that development will continue on their discord. And when this mod ports to 1.4.4 this will be a guaranteed playthrough cuz the new stuff that they have announced for the mod are downright phenomenal.

I'd imagine the mod would port over some time around july or november, though it may have less content than the 1.3 version (temporarily, hopefully.)
This was one of the mods I remember the most fondly (along with Polarities and Secrets of the Shadows) when playing in 2022, so it's a guarantee I'll play it.
I would agree with you, but a certain boss (cough cough Seth cough cough) made me not like this mod as much as I would like to. I swear man, Seth is the worst boss I've ever fought.
