Stardew Valley Update Day! Let’s Figure out the New Stuffs!
What’s up y’all what’s up what’s up so here we go stardew Valley update 1.6 launch day I was going to not stream today um and jump in and figure out all the new stuff and make some videos but I decided why not just uh stream the process of figuring the
Stuff out so uh let’s do it so I’m going on my uh 100% Farm as I want to jump right to the new things I’ve already popped in and dug around a little bit so I’m partway through or I’m at the starting stages um of getting things dialed in
Let me see uh do I have the Music Volume yeah I got Music Volume let’s just uh let’s just get it here thanks for visiting Pier close your cashback Rewards program rebate nice all right so where I’m at is one of the new oh
Man one of the new things is uh we got a little little raccoon down here a little raccoon name neighbor going on stormy stormy day in the valley so this is where I’m at um we got this raccoon this is starting the new quest line he needs five perrywinkle and a smoked
Chub now there’s a fish smoker is one of the new items so that’s how we’re going to have to well we’re going to have to catch a chub of course and and then smoke it and then additionally we got the new Mastery system is down here and still kind of
Figuring out how it works um it looks kind of cool though I mean there’s some you come in through this door here and this is the new Mastery system so there’s like a combat Mastery um once you unlock it uh you get an anvil a mini Forge and new equipment slot for
Trinkets trinkets can be found while adventuring and Grant special powers so we’ll want to get some trinkets as well uh here we got the trees uh we got a special tree we got a treasure totem and then golden mystery boxes which I actually had the little cut scene for mystery boxes already uh
Farming there’s a statue of blessings and aridium Scythe there’s going to be lots of stuff um an advanced aridium rod from fishing Mastery challenge bait a perfect catch yields triple the fish however each time a fish escapes the catch is reduced can now encounter golden fishing
Chests and then mining we got a heavy furnace 25 pieces of ore and three coal per use gem bearing rocks Now Grant twice the gems and the statue of the dwarf King for the mining Buffs and then you earn that stuff through this system but it doesn’t tell you a ton
About it uh by coming this far you’ll have proven that you possess the skill and wisdom to make good use of these Powerful Secrets uh so we got another little um little bit to figure out from Grandpa there I’m not sure how that works as it it shows right now I’m 67 of
10,000 uh but like I said have no clue how what makes that number go up I’m assuming when you get to 10,000 you get to pick a Mastery and then maybe you can have all the masteries eventually once you get the 10,000 over and over again so where we’re at right now is
Trying to figure out where we get the fish smoker from so first stop is going to be trying Willie I think see willly knows knows about them smoked fishes a little tree farm here a little over the top but get the coffee going here just like real life y’all must have the
Coffee all right so here’s Willie there’s rumors of some very rare fish in these parts but only an experienced angler could stand chance against them is he going to go in and open up shop here’s he is so let’s see what’s good with Old Willie here fish smoker all right well that was
Easy sea jelly River jelly and Cave jelly all right so we’re going to have to jump through some hoops here still uh cuz we’re going to need to get those jellies place fish inside with a piece of coal to create smoked fish which is worth double quality of fish is preserved all
Right so I mean we got to buy it now how do I get those other stone fish bait sonar bobber Fisher double bed that’s I think that’s new I mean Deluxe bait is r and regular bait right let’s just buy a bunch of it and we’ll swap out um we’ll swap out our
Regular bait let’s see so we got some Deluxe bait there now all right so we got the fish smoker but we’ve got to uh catch the stuff hopefully it’s not too uh too brutal to find these things and it looked like maybe there was a jelly from each area We’ll fish it out for a minute here but I may need to be going to like a special area or whatever to catch these all right we’re getting the deluxe bait uh directly from there which is kind of nice imagine that my first stardew 1.6 experience turns into uh turns into a fishing
Stream why am I missing all this stuff good Lord h i wonder about these jellies now good Lord man everybody headed in they’re all going to the beach ain’t having it I’m just catching regular fish here wonder if he says anything about how to how to catch these

Catch them but so let me I I’m going to need some Parry Winkles and stuff too so I might as well hit these traps up inventory full but of course it Is can we trash I should have emptied my inventory out before I came here Huh only one perrywinkle out of all those but no that wasn’t even a perrywinkle that was a muscle all right let’s fish it out just a little bit more and see what we get here I’ll free up a little more inventory space with Willie Here I mean the whole seems pretty straightforward right catch them from the sea from the river and from the caves what’s up Shadow shot how you doing man trying to figure out how to make a fish smoker here I need some jellies which uh I do not have it’s a
New item into the game it’s not on the wiki yet how to catch Them there’s a sea jellyfish a cave jellyfish and a river jellyfish playing a little pubg with some friends very nice can’t go wrong there you’ll have to teach me how to uh not suck at pubg it’s one one of these days just don’t know what’s good what’s
Bad when I load in I just end up grabbing whatever and equipping it and hoping for the best you know all right I’m having no luck here so I I don’t know I mean this may not be intended to be completed uh like super fast of course I’m trying to blast through it
And that may not be uh the play there may be specific days or whatever where I have to catch this stuff but since you know like I said since the update’s so new none of it’s available there’s no info available yet everybody’s still figuring out the
Things so anybody knows how I catch a sea jelly You by by all means uh let me know but I mean I’m catching the same old stuff right here all right we’re going to give up on that one get through my uh Beach jungle here oops God dang it I didn’t mean to

Cave let’s just jump right into the cave and look we’ll go down to uh uh go to 100 or is that I mean the jelly is not going to be in lava is it that and it might be like a nighttime thing you know like maybe they’re a
Specific time of day or whatever I mean I ain’t catching crap here though huh cave jelly all right so that was easy let’s try going back down to the beach again real quick no big secret on catching the cave jelly it looks like though come over to the spot over
Here the spot by The Rock who and did I just get Super Lucky on the cave jelly and the Sea jelly is going to be super elusive God dang it go up fish make life easier on me there we go the sonar bobber I am not having any luck with this jelly situation Though Fishing tackle is worn out oh man there we go sea jelly all right so now we need the river jelly where do we want to go for the river jelly just go down here and we’ll just fish it out down here and hopefully hopefully we get the river jelly
Too and then I don’t even know if I have a chub I’ll have to look and see if I have one in the inventory D speaking of inventory I should have dropped my inventory while I was there all right let’s come over To it’s not where we want to come to we want to come to the good River spot up Here 8:00 p.m. see we can get lucky and catch the river jelly here too God I hate to be throwing gold bars away chy sardine I might need to adjust the volumes too if any of the volumes seem too whacked out uh feel free to holler All right there’s one of the mystery boxes all right I’m going going have to trash my inventory there’s there’s just no way I can get through the mystery boxes you got to get you got to crack open at the uh at the blacksmith I got too many fishes too many
Fishes throw that in there actually it’s not going to fit throw that there we’ll throw that in there and we’ll throw the mystery box in there so I’m part of the way there uh but just not all the way there just get rid of these fish we know we don’t
Need I never really realized that this is my original playthrough I never realized that my original playthrough I never color coded any it’s like so I don’t know what box is what I mean I could easily fix that here where is I mean that looks like it’s regular forgeable items
The sonar bobber we could throw that on the old uh fishing rod here I’m not sure I’m not sure uh what’s up with the sonar bobber but anyway we’re we’re freed up now what do we do let’s just sleep it out and we’ll start the day
Fresh and I’ll try to get uh try to get that River jelly here in the morning I want to look too and see if my Mastery has gone up any cu I don’t know what makes that go up is it just performing actions in the game or what’s the deal

Do there’s nothing really in here let’s turn it into quite the chore just to get uh some of the basics going here I mean I could make some coal got to do what you got to do right I don’t want to wait until tomorrow see this is my forgeable box it
Is we’ll make that one green grab those and do I have F furnaces anywhere I don’t have any furnaces out I mean how is that this is the coffee room right yeah that’s coffee and Seed making that’s wine that is so weird that I I trashed my furnaces for some some

Old chest that way you don’t have to move the stuff in and out so like this one for example is only got one empty spot uh spot we can throw this on top of it it picks up the old chest slaps down a new one and makes it so we don’t have to
Deal with moving the inventory so you see the inventory is all in there and then we can uh color coordinate them uh to a likable format dark green on that one and there is our chub so now all I need is the Periwinkles but let me look on the
Wiki I need five of those bad boys fish that can be caught using a crab pot and any freshwater body of water it can also randomly found on the traveler cannot be eaten unless it is used in a cooking recipe all right so it’s just freshwater crab pots I could drop a few
More crab pots maybe um on the river so it won’t be in the those ocean crab pots do I have any other crap pots made already I mean I could go pick those up I’ve got all those down at the ocean not seeing any more crab pots Made uh let’s just go yoink a couple of those off the beach and we’ll throw them in the river cuz these uh are not going to get [Applause] it oh it won’t let me pick it up because these are expensive to make I think I’ll just buy a

One uh so anyway we’re going through I need to get some a bunch of Perry Winkles which are a freshwater like clam or whatever I’ve got one but I need five so I need to get some crab pots um down in the fresh water water here so we’re turning this into a
Fishing Village basically sorry y’all you’re going to have to de deal with it fishing will happen and we’re trying to speedrun it of course so we’re not necessarily speedrun it but once the Periwinkles and want some now I want to start a new Farm but I want to get you know to be
Completely transparent and honest and everything this is a huge opportunity for my YouTube channel um my best performing content on my YouTube channel is stardo Valley content so I know you would think that that would be Dungeon Defenders content but it’s not it’s actually stardy Valley um

Perfection tracker and it gives you it gives you that which is nice all right he might not actually be here since I’ve already got them all get off me you dirty slimes well he’s not over here anyway but yeah anyway golden parrot I mean he’s not going to be in the pirate place
Right no I mean I didn’t think he would be down here anywhere yeah anyway I personally thought that was really fun going around and finding all the walnuts so I’m kind of curious as to why he put that in you know not going to be in here is he no
Well I mean some people may have thought that that was too I don’t know like I said I thought it was fun and it gave you a reason to explore the map you know like you’d see a walnut but you wouldn’t know how to get to it and then
You would have to you would explore around and find the like there was walnuts up top here you know how do you get to it well you have to do some exploring and find out maybe it’s not a thing because I’ve already found them all maybe he flies
Off or something or no there he is so he wants gold and he’ll find walnuts for you he wants some kind of gold tokens H he might not be interactable just because I do have them all so that might be the problem all right we’re really close to this popping
Uh I think the first grow is like 28 the 28 days or whatever then did it again I got to put those on buttons farther apart from each other they look too similar when you’re just kind of going out of the corner of your eye and spamming onto
It like what is going to make raccoon boy happy getting some tail now maybe I find a wife you know what I bet there’s going to be another raccoon somewhere and I’ll have to do something with her and get her over to him fig out some of this
Crap make sure there’s no raccoon hiding over here anywhere no not seeing one n no raccoons Here so what I need to do when these do pop I need to get out here and start picking right away and not let the junimos pick them because like I said I’m pretty sure that they’re gonna I don’t think I’m going to get credit there all right we we throw our Perfection

If there’s an artifact spot or see if there’s any books uh in it of course you know the second you want to find a worm to dig up there’s not going to be one anywhere I think that’s how RNG Works last I checked not a worm on this place

Here a lot of tree area not much growing space I mean there’s a bunch of room over here to grow big old Lake right in the middle of it all right this Farm seems big oh it’s got water borders and here’s the Blue Grass there was something about the blue
Grass it’s not giving me anything special but I want to come down here and see if that room is even open yet I can’t imagine it is but let’s see the Mastery room only a master of the five ways may enter so each of the ways is your basic
Skills so farming mining foraging fishing and combat so you’ve got to get to 10 in all of those before this door will open and I mean that makes perfect sense and that’s how you get the uh the Mastery stuff started uh but anyway y’all that is
