Everything NEW in The Stardew Valley 1.6 Update and Release Date

And there we have it concernedApe finally  posted about the release date of the 1.6   update and that will be on the 19th of March so  clear your calendars since in 3 weeks time we   will be exploring the new Stardew Valley update so  let’s go over all of the information we have so  

Far concerning the 1.6 update from the beginning  ConcernedApe first announced that the 1.6 update   would mostly be about modding options and that  there won’t be much new content in it except some   new dialogues in the game But as time passed  we found out that we’ll be getting much much  

More for the moding options you can just visit  the Wiki page of Stardew Valley to see all of the   changes happening to the game and there are quite  a lot of them everything is mostly about moders  

But there is a whole section about features that  we’ll be getting in the 1.6 update for example   you will now be able to move the Farmhouse and  even the pet bowl from Robin shop the world map  

Will show you your your actual position in the  game and the world map itself will be redrawn   to better match the in-game locations and it  will be more detailed so those are some of the   features that are going to be added in the 1.6  update but there is a ton more information on  

The wiki that you can check out for yourself and  see what else will be added in the game after the   first announcement from ConcernedApe over the next  few months we got some more and more information  

Slowly raising the hype for the new update the  first one was the idium site he just wrote that   on his Twitter page and people want nuts about it  which is understandable come on it’s an idium scythe  afterwards we had different announcements like a  new Festival new items new dialogues and the most  

Fun of them all new secrets that we’ll be able  to explore he also replied to a few tweets like   a fix to the spawn rates of artifact spots for  ginger Island West that’s where we need to find  

The accursed snake vertebrae and we got our first  picture update of a parrot with a JoJo logo next   to the volcano dungeon entrance asking for gold  who knows what this will bring us maybe a secret   entrance to the evil JoJo Corporation or just  a parot selling us golden wallnuts so we don’t  

Have to look for them either way I think in this  update we’ll be getting a lot more Georgia styled   content so I can’t wait to see it even though I  hate Georgia so much after this we got our first  

Content update sneak peek with an image that has  a ton of information of features coming to the   1.6 update starting off it won’t be one Festival  it will be one big festival and two smaller ones  

As for the Sprites in the image they add a lot of  controversy to the game we can see a small green   stardrop maybe you can grow it some new type of  ore a new machine a new totem probably hinting to  

A new area a new drink an arrow quiver possibly  getting an arrow from the haunted chocolatier trailer   working in stardew Valley a new ticket a mystery box  and a man who looks like he works for Joja and  

The last thing for me are the frogs and especially  the one in the middle which looks like a void frog   so maybe they will be added in some new areas  or who knows I covered all of this in one of my  

Previous videos that you can check out up here but  from all of that we can see in this image there   will be some new late game content new crafting  recipes Joja alternative endgame quests maybe  

The bird from before and the guy in the blue that  we can see in the picture a ton of new dialogue   lines winter outfits which was really requested  by the community and the most important thing that  

We be getting is a new Farm type so far there has  been a ton of speculation on what that farm would   be but considering that the multiplayer has been  increased to eight players maybe we’ll be getting  

A new Mega Farm or even some kind of Joja Farm but  you never know after that huge sneak preview we   got a new one which was that we’ll be able to put  hats on our pets like the dogs and cats this was  

Quite a nice update and I think I’ll use it to  the max but come on the bar animals need a hat   too look at agent Fido he looks dashy and after  that in October he posted this wild Horseradish juice  

Picture which wasn’t that special but when you  look closer what is it next to it he purposely   put it off screen a bit to toy with us but for me  it looks like some sort of slime ball or something  

I would like to hear your thoughts on this though  what do you think it will be let me know down   below after that we got this weird looking thing  which is probably a giant Qi fruit meaning they  

Will be able to combine into a giant crop as the  regular crops do the only question is will we get   more key fruits from this and how fun it would  be for that crop to just stay on the farm forever  

That’s going to be the perfect decoration I think  and after the giant Mr Qi face we got another big   update posted by concerned a and that is this  picture here with a big chest in it this should  

Fix all of our inventory problems on the farm I  think not that I have any issues with that in all   of my 100 chests always looking for items but hey  it’s going to be good and again he left something  

Off screen for us which doesn’t look like anything  I have seen so far in the game and from these like   few pixels I can’t say for sure what it is maybe  another backpack upgrade since there’s only chests  

In the picture but who knows what it will be at  the end maybe a fridge even like I don’t know   on January the 1st we got another amazing image  update and that is one of the festivals just don’t  

Know if it will be a main one or a smaller one but  we can see everyone gathered at the beach shooting   fireworks and getting a good fortune read to them  this is probably going to be a main Festival since  

It’s a New Year’s one but we’ll have to wait and  see for that since winter already has a ton of   festivals in the game in the picture we also can  see everyone dressed in winter clothing with a  

Few weird looking barrels below the table I just  don’t know what these are going to be used for   but we’ll have to wait and see though the most  important part for this for me that is is the  

Winter clothing of all the villagers I love it you  can see Jaz’s hat and even Sam has one but we are   the only one dressed in overalls as always like  come on and after this image was released there  

Were a lot of questions to concern D and replied  from him as well the main ones were like if the   1.6 update comes out and we’re in the middle of  playr should we restart or not to that concern  

They posted that it won’t be a problem but to  see everything new in context it would be good   to start a brand new playthrough that means that the new  content is not mostly end game but spread around  

The story of stard Valley so it would be best  to start over and in another reply he confirms   that the 1.6 update is about adding more to the  old stuff in the game so I can’t wait to replay  

It on a new Farm concerned ape also mentioned  that he doesn’t want there to be a huge delay   between the PC and console mobile release date  so after the release of the PC Port the mobile   console Port will follow shortly and that brings  us to the last image and announcement and that is  

The release date of the 1.6 update coming out on  March 19th for PC and console mobile will follow   as soon as possible this is quite amazing for  me since I can’t wait to explore all of the new  

Content and I’ll be starting a new farm when it  releases which I’ll be doing a 100% playr on it   like a series which I already did I think with the  beach Farm as well and with that we have covered  

All of the news surrounding the new 1.6 update  update seeing some of the things that will be   added to the game makes me really want to explore  it sooner but what are your thoughts on it and
