The Terraria bow that breaks progression…
The range class has a wide selection of brilliant weapons available in hard merge most people usually gravitate towards options like the uzi and the deadlift stomber today we’re going to be looking at a bow which can be obtained at the same time as these get its performance compared to that of end game
Gear i’m talking about the tsunami the tsunami is a hard mode burr which has a 1 in 5 chance of dropping from duke fisher on and of course this is the big catch although it is possible to take out this in early hard mode he could pose a serious threat to underprepared
Players especially in expert and master mode however if you can pull it off you’ve just got yourself one of the most overpowered burs to carry you the rest of the play through sir how do we successfully defeat fishron early well for starters we need to get our hands on
His summon item the truffle worm truffle worms are a rare critter which spawn in the underground glowing mushroom biome but i’m gonna be honest i don’t know if i just got lucky i didn’t find them rare at all in fact on multiple occasions i got two for the price of one however if
You’re having difficulty finding them don’t forget you can use water candles and battle versions to increase your chances now when catching them make sure to only get close when you know you’re going to make a successful swing otherwise they will burrow away and you’ll lose them now that you’ve got
Your hands on the truffle wham you need to head to the ocean biome where you’ll summon him make a nice large platform to help with mobility and when you’re ready chuck in your fishing line and wait for him to bite as i’ve said this won’t be
An easy fight this duke is designed to be fought around the post golem stage nevertheless it is still very possible i’d highly recommend using the queen slime mount as this has an extremely rapid vertical mobility as for weapons you have quite a few choices this time
I’ve used the onyx basket and it has great accuracy and a high dps but other fantastic options include the spirit flame the shadowflare knife and the uzi pretty much anything that deals high damage and keeps you in the jeep far apart will do well now as for the fight
Itself you will be able to take many hits with pre-mech armor to try and dodge as many attacks as you can with enough luck and skill you should be able to take him out and get your hands on that precious treasure bag now of course there is no guarantee you’ll get the
Tsunami first time but put it this way if you can beat him once with that gear you can definitely beat him again with whatever weapon he dropped so then let’s see how the tsunami performs on its own the tsunami deal is a very respectable dps around the 800s
This is comparable to the evan tide which is the first pontero weapon with standard arrows the tsunami performs poorly on multiple enemy scenarios as it does not pierce whereas the evan tide does dealing a ton more dps however what can truly take the tsunami to the next
Level is pairing it with holy arrows which i crafted with pixie dust and unicorn horns these arrows combined with a firefight from the tsunami resulting 10 additional stars hitting the target dealing a massive amount of damage let’s see how it does against actual enemies as expected the tsunami ripped through
Large boots no problem with holy arrows the same can be said against mod tank enemies like mimics icar arrows are another great synergy as the first one lowers defense while the others deal even more damage resulting from it the tsunami can also be brilliant at taking
Out much later game bosses from when you obtained it the impressive light for example suffers greatly from the shower of poliaris released by this birth i think what i love most about this combination is that you pretty much can’t miss any fast-moving targets as you have a wide wall of arrows to impact
With what do you think is the tsunami quite possibly the best burn in the game due to how early it can be obtained or is there a better option as it turns out only 15 percent of you defeat jake fish from pre-med bosses which might be why
It isn’t usually picked up i think if you aim to get this bus pantera you’re better off with something else thanks for watching for more terraria content like this drop a like and subscribe and i’ll see you in the next one i
The Terraria bow that breaks progression… The Tsunami. In this video, I take a look at this early Hardmode ranged weapon which can be obtained from by killing Duke Fishron pre-mech bosses. Although this is challenging, the damage this weapon can deal makes it well worth it!

3:22 hey look, that's me!
or I could just go through the intended progression
i prefer sniper rfile with evntide for worm enmies like fantasm dragon
I know I'm late but I recommend doing 3 layers of platforms but make sure you can barely reach them with the queen slime mounts
3:24 what happened to this empress attack? I found it really fun to dodge but i can never get it to happen anymore. did they remove it or something??
I got this first try
What a great buh. A truly remarkable buh.
Iām gonna start fighting the duke earlier in progression from now on because I beat him post mech and itās so nice to have his gear before getting to plantera. I decided to do it post mech in my current run instead of pre mech because I wanted to use the dart pistol for the mechs since thatās a weapon I also like. But with that being said, his drops are also very fun to use and next run Iāll try to do what I previously failed at many times.
Using the nimbus rod against duke is very helpful as if you space them out the bubbles he shoots out cant cross from one side to the other
Ur queen slime mount looks a lil off…
I love buhs
buh
Truffle worms aren't rare anymore. Since 1.4 if feels like the devs quadrupled thier spawn rate
how did you fire arrows that quick also what build did you use for it
*boh
tbh i wish you could fight the empress of light early as well
Bro proven that his computer is nasa's computer at the end
How do people fight master modr duke fishron in the beginning of hardmode when i was using a vortex beater in expert mode it took me atleast 10 tries
buhs
you can technically kill the Duke pre-mech boss
I had more trouble with Duke Fishron than I did with moon lord ._.
buh
"buh" and "buhs"
To be fair, Duke Fishron is basically a super boss.
How do you make your bow shoot that fast?
Last week when i was fighting EoL (nighttime) I found out that the best weapon for me was the Tsunami with Ichor arrows. Took a while but i wventually defeated her. Tho thats nighttime EoL, I still havent beaten daytime EoL and am kinda starting to lose hope on defeating her. This is master mode btw.
Duke Fishron just ignores progression.
Buh
buh
dehdilus stohmbuh
Tsunami is for player with enough skill to get, but if you have enough skill you don't need tsunami to skip the game anw š
I always go with the buh subclass because itās so easy to
the tsunami is a weapon u can use to kill the moon lord and u can get it early hardmode
buh
TSUNAMI IS AMAZING I LOVE IT
don't use the queen slime mount or any other weird items. All you need is adamantite armor, an adamantite repeater, cursed/ichor arrows, and a minishark with exploding bullets. if you understand his attack patterns well, with the repeater and minishark you should only take 1-2 hits the entire fight
Fighting fishron pre mechboss or pre plantera in expert and normal mode is doable, but in mastermode fishron just deals so much damage it is stupid. First and second phase is easy but the 3rd phase is practically fishron going ballistic crazy.
Me and my friend defeated him post plantera In expert before golem
How do yall do duke early hardmode bro is so terrifying
2:41 you could get the eventide pre plantera I know that because I often summoned it while going to planteras bulb
