The Best Crops For Each Season in Stardew Valley!

Hello there and welcome back to another stardew valley video and for today’s video i’m going to be showing you each of the best crops for each season so let’s get straight into it for spring there really is only one winner and that’s the strawberries you get these from the egg festival from

Pierre shop so make sure you’re saving up money to buy these when you can for summer i chose the star fruit because it’ll get you the most gold per day but if you’re lazy like me i would recommend blueberries because you only have to plant it once and harvest it and

You’ll never have to replant it until next year these two are the most profitable plants that you can only plant in summer so i highly recommend buying these for fall we have the sweet gem berry which you can only get from the traveling merchant and you can only get

One of at a time so it’s pretty hard to get but when you do get them make sure you buy them and you can only plant them on the first day of fall otherwise they won’t fully grow in time for your harvest my second option for fall is cranberries this is

Going to be your staple for fall because it’s a recurring crop and you can get it from pierre shop

  1. 1st year in stardew valley: “wow! There are so many crops! I am going to plant them all!
2nd and up Years in stardew valley: ‘Ew, all these crops won’t regrow.. I am just going to stick with blueberries

  2. For good money in Winter, make sure you upgrade your hoe, the higher the better, then just go around and chop any dirt that you can. You’ll get winter root and snow yam, lots of each. Individually they aren’t worth a lot, but if you go at it all day, you’ll make some good money

  3. Pumpkins are better if you have kegs or preserves jars. Most first year casual runs don't have either so cranberries are king, but in year 2 you should always go pumpkins. It makes ridiculous money!

  4. I put half cranberries and half blueberries in my green house and whenever I run out of money I just start watering them again because yiu can actually leave them for years in game and they won’t die they just won’t grow

  5. Got the greenhouse, and filled it with sweet gem berries starfruit, and ancient fruit. Put in a seed maker and by the time the greenhouse is filled youre gonna get a huge profit. Just remember to put half of the produce in the seed makers to replant. Dw about ancient fruits tho, they regrow after harvest.

  6. You can only get strawberries after the egg festivals so before that plant potatoes

Pumpkins are also really good in fall but only if you process them into pumpkin juice

Sweet gem berries takes 24 days to grow so I would plant it in my greenhouse or ginger island farm

You can plant the winter foragables if you have the botanist profession you can sell them for a decent amount but my favorite method is to make winter seeds and turn them all into tea saplings (the recipe is from Caroline 2 hearts event) but most likely you would use the greenhouse and the ginger island farm plus gardening pots + deluxe retaining soil

  7. You can put sweet gem berries in a seed maker. Takes forever to make a sizable number. But I can see this being a thing on my 5th or 6th year lol

  8. do you know what's more profitable than the cranberries? if you put all the normal quality cranberries into the seeds maker and selling the seeds as it is

normal quality cranberries sells for 75 gold, if you put 10 cranberries into seeds maker it could potentially gives you at least 15 seed which instead of the normal 750 gold, you could profit 900 gold IN THE WORST CASE SCENARIO.

not to mention you could also potentially getting ancient seeds from doing this that you could plant for the next spring or for your greenhouse if you hasn't doing so.

  9. I found my first ancient seed spring day 6 year 1 this time. So I planted it asap and saved the fruit for the seed maker.
So year 2, your best crop spring, summer & fall is ancient fruit.

  10. A sweet gem berry is for the statue in the woods, not profit. Takes forever to actually get any number of them; that time can be better spent getting actual crops, which are not only money but food, gifts and bundles for the CC.

  11. I recommend pumpkins for fall the nurved cranberrys and sweet geym barrys i mean you can do it but wow takes a lot of time also she can now sell up to 5 at a time mostly 1000 each

  12. Hey, nice advice, and I know I'm 2 years late but I just wanted to say…
One of the best summer crops is melons, because my friends and I planted around 200 of them for around 20k, which you can get from spring strawberries, and we got 70,000$ from those, let alone the giant melons. 😉

  13. Strawberries are the best option BUTTT as a plant I might want to grow before the festival is cauliflower for the 2nd best option because if ur on year one strawberries are only available on day 14 (I think)

  14. My biggest mistake playing stardew valley was being impatient and straight up refusing to buy any seeds because it "took too long" so I would just go into the mines or fish all day and I never planed anything. That save file… it didn't last a long time.
