How to Cheese Deerclops With a Pickaxe (Master Mode) | Terraria Boss Guide

You can deal with Deerclops with just your pickaxe, completely naked, treating it like a harmless ore vein! Here’s how: Find a flare gun in chests and buy 1000 flares from the trader. Craft a Deer Thing. Prepare potions, food, and drinks. Find, place, and activate a sharpening station.

Unequip all your gear, leaving only the molten pickaxe. Prepare a closed arena – we’re too squishy to let anyone get inside. Fire all the flares. Each flare lasts for 10 minutes, and it takes around 5 minutes to fire all 1000 flares. This gives us a 5-minute window to defeat the Deerclops!

You’ll notice once the projectile limit is reached. Now summon the boss, drink potions and eat food, evade the boss’s attacks like in Don’t Starve, and get under his head. The boss won’t be able to deal any damage, while you, completely naked, mine him like an ore vein! Easy-cheesy!
