Never Really Heard Of This Weapon, When I Play Master Mode Mage I Might Try It (Only Done Melee, But I Am Playing For The Worthy Ranger)
This weapon is still really good to this day.

This is my go to mage weapon for a premech duke fishron fight
Also serpent is the one of the best pre mech mage weapons for duke, since he will run into the extra projectile. It's very close to the spirit flame while being a lot easier to get.
The idea of a crystal serpent is really rad! I think i want a terraria pet now that slithers like a snake. There likely is one and im totally not sure.
I get quite a few of these because whenever there’s a blood moon, I almost always go to an ocean (the hallowed one) to fish for blood moon stuff. I do catch some of these and they’re honestly a source of money lol

I'll be honest, I don't think i've ever gone out of my way to get the crystal serpent. Nothing really wrong with it per say. But, if I get to hardmode on a mage character, I usually just shoot for the sky fracture.
I think the Cystal serpent suffers from it just not really being unique enough to warrant its mediocracy. Cause if you ask me I DESPISE fishing if I don't have to do it.
a good weapon, minus 10000 points for being an item i have to fish for.
