This Terraria weapon deals insane amounts of damage… The Sniper Rifle. In this video, I take a look at this post plantera powerful ranged weapon that can be obtained from skeleton snipers in the dungeon in Terraria 1.4.4. This weapon can deal some ludicrous amounts of damage thanks to its high base damage and crit chance. Of course the only catch is an extremely low fire-rate. The question is, does this high amount of damage make it worth it? Lets take a look!

This makes me wonder what did the skeltons need these weapons for theory they helped the drayads defeated chutulu or had a war against the dryads but the drayads won banshing them to the dungeons
Sniper Rifle with Chlorophyte Bullets gives whole new meaning of Sniper, but I think High Velocity bullet it gives with endless musket Pouch is already good enough as the High Velocity Bullets are almost hitscan.
Also with Sniper Rifle its best to go wild on Critical Strike (on top of it having one of highest base of 1/5 shots are crit).
Using this with the instant attack mod is one of my favorite “I just wanna fuck shit up” combos
Fact: The Sniper Rifle deals between 156-172 base damage in Terraria XBox 360 edition!

I remember ages ago I got the endless musket pouch and turned on an auto clicker. I essentially got an early release of the zenith as I could kill 90% of bosses in under a second.

shroomite armor, plus any piercing bullet with sniper will absolutely SHRED any events
There's just something extremely satisfying about one-shooting most enemies in the game and seeing them literally explode lol
no cooldown sniper rifle is how you become death destroyer of worlds
I feared the biome mimic would reflect the sniper bullet 😅
The only downside the binocular i hateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it come on relogic at least to be a setting
How do you change the use time??
Used this thing from golem all the way through the Vortex Pillar because I couldn't for the life of me get a Tactical Shotgun. I also killed EoL with it. It's extremely satisfying to use in my opinion, and having piercing by default is very nice.
I tried so hard to get that in my other character then I just give up
And made a new character after playing for 6-8 hours I finally tried to grind in the dungeon and got it easily in just 10-15 minutes 😅
And I got 3 of them

After beating terraria me and a friend managed to get the sniper rifle to shots of I think 15 thousand upwards.

Okay, funny thing about zoom items (Sniper Rifle or Binoculars) is that with the teleporting rods (Rod of Discord/Harmony) it can actually travel FARTHER than the normal player screen, though you gotta do it quickly or else you'll just use a normal screen sized teleport
This is my favorite weapon in pvp, together with vortex set up (which can give you an ability to conceal/camouflage), and luminite bullets.
(unless there're players who recklessly and constantly spamming zenith, meowmere, and star fury everywhere, which is my most hated thing in pvp)
This weapon excels against Duke Fishron, even in Master
