so this is a clock from illmangos bonemeal farm video, and ive tried to learn or teach myself on new aproaches to things, new redstone mechanics tricks etc. since the last time i delved in redstone properly was in like 2012 and 1.2.5 version of the game and a lot of blocks have been added since then, ive known of their existence ive played the game in the meantime but i havent done much with redstone since then, so i disected his bonemeal farm because its amazing.
the interesting thing about this is that it outputs a 7 tick ON and then 8 ticks OFF pulse and i for the life of me cant figure out how would someone calculate or come up with something like this.
the first image is the clock itself, the second one how the output looks on a repeater chain synced with a pulse extender that the clock attaches to.
i tried to replicate this clock using just good old redstone, repeaters and stuff but i have been unable to do so for now.
