We also can't ignore the fact that there is no school in the town and the library/museum is completely empty with all their books for some reason buried around the town so it's amazing that the whole town is not illiterate

I always thought that Lewis and marnie had an age gap and that’s why they didn’t want to be public about it nothing huge maybe like 40 for marnie and 55 for Lewis

A lot of people seem to hate Lewis, but personally I find Clint to be even worse. He has two prominent characteristics: he complains about his job constantly and is obsessed with Emily but won't ask her out. Maybe his heart events show some character growth (I've never bothered upping my friendship with him so idk) but dang it gets grating after awhile. Also while I get why for game balance reasons you have to supply the metal for tool upgrades, it makes no sense that the blacksmith with infinite copper, iron, and gold ore to sell you won't refine his own metal for your tools and mark up the price of the tool upgrades to include the metal.
I wonder if there is a mod(if not should be!) for the player to run for mayor^^

honestly, i have linus at 10 hearts, and i always felt pretty upset and confused on why no-one was helping him at least be protected from harassment. i always really liked him and just hearing of it pissed me off. i cannot even fathom that not even lewis would notice it and take action. justice for linus he’s amazing
My ten-year-old sister that hates Pierre also hates Lewis not as much as Pierre though.
I don't like him either he doesn't really seem to do anything that benefits the town and basically just seems to have the title of Mayor and just walk around telling everyone that.
Also then you have the infamous him using the town's taxes to make a gold statue.
Also he doesn't really seem to care about anyone that much.
I would love a mod where you get Marnie set up with one of the other gentlemen interested in her, or at least help her see that Lewis ain't shit
him and Robin set up the extra tasks board in town for me the other day, and hes like "so you think you'll be helping out more?" and as i joke i picked the "Ehhhhhh…" option. Lewis lost his shit on me 😂 "I was expecting more from you!" while Robin was like "Lewis they dont have to do these tasks? Its just here if they want to." So im still mad i cant marry Robin, and my hate for Lewis is fueled much more than normal

Thinking about the bus reminded me that Lewis seems to be the only person that actually has a car, and it looks like it hasn't been used in years. Which… Why? If Lewis isn't using it, why not borrow it as a replacement for the bus while it's being fixed (if it was)? I'm pretty sure there's at least a few people who could use the transportation.

mayor lewis has funds to build a solid gold statue of himself but not enough to fund the community centre or fix the bus, he's clearly stealing from the town's funds to fund his own little project and leaved the actual task mayors should do up to you

Since Lewis wants to keep a seemingly normal adult relationship secret it seems strange that unlike Pierre Marnie is not struggling too keep the doors open maybe shes getting some of that cash flow from Joja.

Wait-if jojo had something on Mayor lewis, then maybe they are the ones who created the secrete notes about him and Marnie and the statue! And maybe since Lewis brought the Farmer in and had them working on the community center they 'dropped' the hints about his secretes all around to intimidate him for giving them competition over the town
I’ll ask the simple question if he loved the community center so much why didn’t he fix it up himself?
