In this Mumbo Jumbo Minecraft redstone video, Mumbo takes a look at the latest Minecraft 1.21 Snapshot 23W42A. This Experimental Minecraft update introduces the automatic crafter into Minecraft redstone. An automatic Minecraft crafting bench that allows us to make all kinds of new redstone contraptions. Is this Minecraft update a game changer!?

  1. Just a note on this video; The obvious uses for this block are outputs from farms and mass 'simple' crafting (things like iron blocks etc.)
I wanted to get creative and get a feel for how it works. Will be releasing some videos soon on more functional pipelines!

EDIT: Hopper update order messes with this design when re-logging mid process. I've fixed it using some extra circuitry, but it definitely adds some extra confusion for people making these themselves.

  2. I enjoy watching people like you come up with these contraptions but I can't help but feel like whenever Mojang adds something cool they have to add it in its weakest form possible. I mean just look at what you had to build just to craft dispensers. I believe myself and most casual Minecraft players won't be able to extract too much use out of this. It's the same with the sculk sensor, cool idea but now that the dust is settled it's hard to use effectively. I have to wonder if Mojang is scared of rocking the boat too much. Slime Blocks are another cool idea, but not powerful enough to use effectively in normal play. I wish Mojang would go a few steps further with trying new things. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

  3. I think Xizuma was having an issue with the order items were delivered into the crafter, and I don't remember if they fixed that. a collab video between you two would be sweet~

  4. Next up: A machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine that auto crafts the blocks to auto build a machine…

    …that destroys itself.

  5. Well it seems Minecraft is going to die soon. If the game allows you to truly automate everything, then there's no point in exploration necessarily.

  6. All the other minecrafters be all, "I can't figure out how to get it to only go if it can make what I'm wanting…"
Mumbo be all, "Hold my Gapple."
