Terraria calamity is one of the most popular mod in game, since it adds multiple bosses and new biomes, including Astral Infection. It’s a heaven’s hell-sent gift, some says. So, why don’t we extend those infections a bit further? Like, what would happen if we infect the whole world with it?

    This is what I felt when I started hardmode and got my whole base infect by the Astral biome, like if my whole world was infected,…
    Eventually, you would usually avoid the Astral biome early Hardmode, because of most of the enemies one-shot you, or when the debuff you get doesn't finish you off)

    I prefer the Astral blight over the Astral infection, more for the decorations and overall theme.
