first time i played this game was in the 1st week of "two weeks of school holiday" in March 2020. and now i'm still playing this game on 2 platforms (mobile and PC).
I could not stand the micromanagement and too much tasks of this game, what is a shame because I deeply loved the ambience with these musics. Plus, I really wanted that all the chars of the game were real.
about 2 weeks ago i had to say goodbye to my first dog i've ever had. my family & i got her when i was about 7 years old so she was there for me through preteen years, teenage years & she stayed with me until my early 20s. i was so heartbroken the first couple of days after she passed, but im a little better now. it doesnt hurt any less, but im able to function again. i spent those first days absolutely SOBBING, so i havent been crying recently anymore. today tho, i dont know what came over me but i was just sitting on my couch & i broke down and cried again. i looked at pictures that i had of her on my phone, & i opened youtube to put on some chill video game music to listen to. a video that had stardew valley songs with rain sounds popped up in my recommended so i clicked on it & this was the first song that played. i've (VERY briefly) played stardew before, & when i did, the first time i heard this song made me feel so at peace. it's truly so beautiful. so this song coming on & accompanying my mini grieve sesh just sent me over the EDGE lol. i felt like i was now crying tears of sadness AND happiness at the same time. i miss her so so so much. but she was so amazing. im crying because my heart feels broken & i want her back, and im crying because my heart feels full knowing she's finally at peace now & no longer hurting. im crying because she's no longer here, and im crying because i know she's still with me, still visiting me every now & then & sending me little reminders of her. i love u forever bb bell bell❤this song feels so healing to me & im so grateful it exists in this world & i had the opportunity to hear it :,) & if anyone is reading this, i wish u the happiest & most beautiful life. u deserve everything u desire, i hope u always feel at peace, fulfilled, loved & inspired. you're amazing & your best is always good enough<3 & remember to drink ur water!!
For me, the most memorable moment of the game was one day after petting my dog, Felix, on the bottom of the screen appeared a small text box saying 'Felix loves you.' It made me tear up
I played this masterpiece game for 12 hours in one day. If you play with your friends, be nice to them, otherwise they will force you to borrow money. 😅😅
Sometimes I want to run away from everything and live on a cute cottagecore farm in the middle of the woods where it’s just me and 10 chickens and cows
