Diamond farming is something mc needs after the changes to villager trades. I don’t know that mojang were thinking about that when they added the challenge spawner but something tells me they were.
How did the crab not win? It was the only mob that did something useful

while I am disappointed the armadillo won, I am excited about most of the other features though; with how egregiously diamond-expensive smithing templates are, I knew it was only a matter of time before we got renewable diamonds, can't wait to find a way to cheese the spawners; auto crafters are literally gonna be game changing for so many things, now we just need a renewable way to get sand to get auto TNT and concrete crafters

It would be really cool if the Trial Spawner spawned mobs depending on the blocks at its base. The one shown had 4 Blue or Packed Ice at the base and it spawned Strays, so how cool would it be if it changed to Slimes with Slime Blocks, Husks with Sandstone, Drowned with Prismarine, Skeletons with Bone Blocks, etc. You could also change the number of mobs spawned by the number of that block type, and you could spawn a mix of mobs if you had multiple block types.
I’m also a big fan of the new Tuff and Copper blocks. I really like that Mojang is expanding the block palette for existing materials and I hope that they continue this trend.
I’m looking forward to seeing more about what these features will become, especially the Crafter.

If you can build around the trial spawner that would make for a perfect new farm with a kill chamber that works better on multiplayer

Honestly, a good update, and im glad we got the armadillo. It's cute and useful. This is one of the best updates, in the top 7 for me i guess.

Bro, honestly, I'm super excited for everything, but the armadillo like come on dog armor over a crab claw honestly in the late game who uses dogs in battle and I bet we'll be able to make Dimond even netherite dog armor but at that point the player them self most likely will be so strong that we won't need dogs to fight for us
