New item filter?
Cool. Ty
Does this mean Unstackable Item sorting?
What they could also do is make pots able to be placed by dispensers to set up a random target game
mumbo jumbo noises*
As a bedrock player, all I can say is FINALLY and WOOHOO 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Someone said… REVOLUTION?!

Pottery rocks
Zelda
This might be a game changer for compact sorting systems..
If they are able to be placed by dispensers/droppers, then this could be cool for storage-tech.
Mob Vote for the penguin
Will a dispenser place a pot? That would be very useful.
so it can store 64 items even if they are different item types? thats huge for storage tech
a bundle block
New archery mini games could be fun! They could also be used to make secret doors.
This makes me think of a more immersive way to access your storage as the interactions with it don't require opening a GUI of any sort, im sure some will really enjoy this.
This is what I expected when I saw pots lol. Really cool feature.
On Hermitcraft now I wanna see one of those gambling minigames where you have pots suspended in the air over a water stream, maybe like 5 diamonds an arrow, and you have to try to pop several pots like balloons and they'll drop items for you. You could get a stack of wood or something out of a log, or you could get a single block of diamond or netherite as prize examples. The trick is you have to stand in such a way you can only get like one or two at a time, due to how spread out they are, and you can't stand close so you can't shoot straight up and pop a huge line to cheat the system. Also curious if you can fit an actual bundle or a shulker box inside a pot, because you could fit even more prizes in that way.
Would have been nice to have functionalities for the pots in the main release, its pretty obvious they needed a practical purpose. Still cool tho
anyone else thought about decked out 2 when the pot changes came up?
Curious what Mojang did here for the redstone community. It guarentees only one item can pass through at a time in a very compact form. May be useful for reading data, stored as items of. My first thought is Etho's musical contraptions.
I think the music juke box, and the chiseled bookshelves are two in game storage blocks I can think of, that also don't have a GUI menu
Item…sorters
The decorative pots are now act like the bundle items. But placeable.
The one thing that was missing from this block, thank you Mojang!
Hyah!
This video is insane.

About the mob vote? Not in the slightest.
This shouldnt be a surprise, but it is.
Still hurts to see the villager change but this is fine
They need the dispenser functionality when broken, they should drop splash potions empty water buckets ect
The first thing I notice is that pots act pretty reliable as single item filters. You'd need to play around with it to see if there's any merit to the idea of using them as one over the gold stander impulse sorter, but it might be worth considering.
This is fantastic news! I'm so glad Mojang listened about the pots and expanded on them. This brings hope that other "good potential" features that were recently added will be better expanded upon in the future!
I want a new advancement for this. HIYAAAAAAAA – Break a decorated pot with sweeping edge (its a zelda reference)
It'd be great if you could shift+click to put an entire stack of items in
I’m guessing they will have a new structure in 1.21 that already has filled pots
Have a pot full of items out of range above a heavy pressure plate, you break the pot it drops the items and activates the pressureplate/redstone something.
Seems like we may have a new way to make item filters.
I see that more of a smoke decoration than anything else.
Using the burn pot sherd to show where to put fuel in a steampunk build
Fill your friend's base with dozens of pots and then spread their stash of valuables into a random pots.
