    Get a mod called boss checklist. It help you know the order of what bosses to fight. Also slimes are too good at swiming they cant dive so you can hide underwater. Flying mobs cant swim either.

    Mediumcore is about the worst decision you could have made.
    But if you feel like actually playing infernum OR Fargo's (Mixing content mods together is almost always a bad idea. If you want an explanation on why, just lmk), I would love to see a playthrough, cause they're incredibly well done

    Just so you know, infernum is almost only a boss rework
    It doesn't really affect general gameplay
    Also, the early game isn't that bad as 80% of my deaths came post providence
    Also also, it's a really bad idea to mix infernum with fargos

    Sorry for the long ass comment but terraria, especially modded is so complicated that it needs this length to even scratch the surface (i typed it all on mobile btw).

    I have over 1k hours on terraria on pc alone (vanilla + modded) and id love to see you do a full playthrough on an actually possible difficulty.

    I think the maximum difficulty reasonable for a first full playthrough would be a classic mode character on expert mode world with calamity on revengeance mode.

    For other big mods id say fargos mutant and fargos soul could be fun if you either dont enable any extra challenge modes or only once you can handle the game normally, they add some npcs and items that can make the game easier but also add some really hard optional bosses and are generally well made.

    For small but important mods id say magic storage and recipe browser are 1000% (not a typo) necessary, ESPECIALLY with these huge content mods as otherwise youll spend decades just trying to craft anything.

    If you do use those two smaller mods the robot npc that teaches you how to make a magic storage system will be your best friend and please spend at least a few minutes learning everything you can by exploring the controls in the settings, make sure to bind rage and adrenaline if youre in revengeance mode and bind the open recipe browser and query hovered item (default binding should be fine for them).

    Also hover over and read/click all icons or text you see when you open your inventory like quick stack, sort, and beastiary so you can learn what they are.

    Last tip, clicking on an item in your inventory can do different things when holding either left shift, ctrl, or alt
