Fun fact… I didn't know this weapon even existed until you guys starting telling me about it lol
I like how you always just casually get really rare drops in the background footage, like I saw one of those enemies drop a Mechanical Eye in the first few seconds

Ok so you say I can obtain immediately after wall of flesh but… be well equipped… and you need an orichalcum or mithril anvil… and that's definitely immediately afte WoF without doing anything else like getting properly equipped or progressing through mineable ores to get the corresponding anvil, yeah? Nice, makes sense to me

Usually when I do mage playthroughs I use the spirit flame until the pillars (its really good against the cultist)
I use this as a go to for any magic playthrough

When the armors and the weapon came out. Me and my bro LITERALLY didnt swap it out til we killed the moonlord. He was rocking a mage set-up, i was rocking a summoner set-up. Idk if it got nerfed since, but holy smokes it was fun and strong.
The best way to kill the damn thing is to build up high a few platforms and just sit on them waiting, then even with weak wings and any long-dis weapon, you can easily kill it

this weapon carried me through the mechanical bosses and are so powerful but is a very hard farm for once you enter hard mode

This weapon is amazing, with it i have deafeated duke fishron on my mage mastermode playthrough before any hardmode boss obtained razorblade typhoon and deafeted all mechs in one night. With other weapons it would be much harder cuz i would have to aim

I was the guy hovering over the two buttons for this and the forbidden arnor. I chose the armor, but I could try to get this too, if the elemental even wants to spawn.

Looks pretty awful against Duke Fishron. The DPS is bad.
This thing is viable all the way up to Duke and post Plantera with the Razorblade Typhoon and the Razorpine.
