I think I'll keep uploading videos in 4K quality. It looks much better and crisp compared to what we previously had. What do you think? On another note, I hope you all can forgive me for the wonky voice-over. I am still quite sick, and it's clearly evident by how I sound. I will only use melee armour for defense whilst having a weapon from every class
I always get a summon of some kind when I play for the extra damage. Plus it doesn't hurt your performance since a summon does it's own thing.
In my opinion mixing melee, mage and ranged together is the most obvious and easy option, mage/ranger helps you when ran out of ammo/range.
All im saying is… i see nothing wrong with the tank mage setup…
Mixed class is like kevin 11 from ben10
It has all the powers but each is a 10th as powerfull as a full class
I use both melee weapons and armors but still uses guns as secondary.. I actually like the ranged type more but I still want to have more defense.. I mean, a ranger type needs to be good at dodging and I sucks at dodging so tanking is the only option I have.
Frost armor is an amazing melee/ranged set, not only for the stats, but also the benefit of having flask and bullet effects. If you use an ichor flask and cursed bullets or the inverse, you get both effects, considerably increasing your firepower if you use both a melee and ranged weapon at least for a moment to keep both effects going.
Fun fact i use maximum ammo reduction chance to save as much ale to throw but i also use quite a few mage weapons
nah am gonna be 3 classes if i can Mage Melee and range lol ill have melee armor and op mage items like shadow flame knife also i have rn a night's edge and i just entered hard mode

I use every weapon I like that is good full warding accessories and only use armour based on defence unless it’s the hallowed set is that bad
I've done a couple playthroughs using two damage types and it's pretty fun. The method I use is armor for one damage type and accessories for another.
What if i wanted to play mixed to challenge myself or experience the game in a way i haven't before? You didn't really mention those reasons, and i myself will be having a mixed playthrough for that very reason
I tend to use a mix of Melee/Summoner as using obsidian armour and the best melee accessories you can grab will breeze hard mode.

Even tho i main summoner i still use the onyx blaster to deal some extra damage with debuff bullets like ichor
I focus on melee but for help I will use a random summon I found and use bewitching table for more help. Also helps for AFK farms as that is damage that you don't need to click to do.
I started going summoner but as soon as I knew it, I wasn't. But the only things I use are the orange gun bought from a traveling merchant, the magic daggers from queen slime, and I'm going for the zenith. Don't do it with armor tho
I've only ever used mixed class when I first played, and when i first played 1.3.
However I'm thinking of using mixed when I play more of the 3DS version, for nostalgia I guess?
