How to become invincible in Terraria, in 100 seconds

Much of this footage is from 1.4.3.6, since it's easier to record and looks nicer, but as seen in the prime footage, this absolutely still works in 1.4.4.9.
It's based on the fundamental concept of taking damage and getting i-frames, so it's unlikely to be patched like… ever

I've been clickbaited this is not invincibility in 100 seconds it is invincibility in 102 seconds 0/10 video I hate it.

Seriously though, this is a really cool ''exploit'' and was explained very concisely as well.

A couple of people already mentioned this but, you can easily i-frame cheese the moon lord another way.

I've done it a few times even as a summoner. Moon lord's eye socket deals only 80 damage across all difficulties. You just need a minimum defense of 79+ to take only 1 damage from moon lord's eye socket. It's not that hard as long as you have a shield to resist knockbacks + cross necklace/star veil. Take out one eye from his hand and once you take it out, use a UFO mount or the Witch broom mount. Fly near the moon lord's eye socket and his hands will automatically track your character as long as you stay close and not fly too fast. Then simply tap (don't hold) the A or D key (depending on which moon lord hand you're on) while on the mount to stay inside the eye sockets to activate the iframes and you'll easily match the speed of the moon lord's hands that way.

UFO is slightly easier to do this trick due to the fact that your hitbox is a little larger than the witch mount. Although it's still not that hard even with the witch's broom.

And it's important to note that this trick works best in master mode due to how defense modifier works as your effective defense is 100%. It doesn't work as well on expert mode because the effective defense is only 75%. And much harder to pull off on normal mode with only 50% effective defense.

Technically speaking, there is another way
the philosophers stone glitch (which is super cool btw) can let you spawn in the top half of an unused chest, and if you hover your cursor over it you’re completely invincible including against EOL and the DG
The issue is that summons disappear when hovering over this chest, and you can’t use items

But sentries stay for some odd reason

You use the cross necklace for invincibility methods.

I use the cross necklace because it helps in the hard struggles of battle.

We are not the same.

Instead of doing that, you can just go to Terrasavr+ and give yourself the endurance buff 10 times. So you don’t have to sit in one area 100% of the time. That’s extremely annoying.

Theres a glitch that allows you to place a golden chest which you shouldnt be able to, mousing over it immobilizes your character and makes you immune to all damage

If u use the transmutation glitch u can create unobtainable chests and when u hover over the top of them u cant take damage. U also cant attack or have summons but u can use sentries or traps to cheese things

Не уверен что верно понял, но когда-то на английской вики нашëл такой факт: если в персонаже находится несколько врагов, то урон будет нанесëн от врага с наименьшим ID. Если это так, то это почти идеальная машина, так как слизень – самый старый враг в игре
