Maybe if the new farm is a swamp type The frogs mean you can breed frogs. Sort of like the fish ponds.
The Blue Box with a question mark makes me think it's a Joja deposit box or a Joja reward box (possibly related to the bird).

I wonder, since stardrop sorbet is a thing at the movie theater, that purple-pink drink is actually a special item used during a festival. If the 'Love' festival were real, perhaps the drink is a special stardrop drink you give to a love-interests after gaining a few hearts, and would allow you to gain a full heart with someone.
The totam has a smiling face on it, and it makes sense to me that it would also be heart/friendship related item. Perhaps getting one of these also gives you friendship points with someone in the valley.
Perhaps the theoretical 'love' festival has a 'cubid's arrow' contest where you shoot arrows at targets?
I finally get the hang of fishing and the possibility of a fishing net.? If it means I can catch that bloody legend fish I'm all for it.
I think another warp totem would be cool. It could go to Cindersap, maybe on the south side of the lake? I know it isn't super far to walk, but still, would be nice for visitng the wizard, secret woods and traveling cart.
This update might be the thing that gets me and a lot of people playing again

i think you are on to something with the Love Festival idea for those items. The rest, the details are so vague its really hard to say.
This is making me think the pink drink is like a tea that you can give to someone to automatically gain friendship with them, like a love potion or something
All I know about this update is that a lot of the mods I have installed are likely to break 🙁

Should go hit perfection with my modded farm before this comes out. Then I can start a fresh vanilla farm with no guilt.
I would love to have a harvest festival like in older farm games. Maybe have different categories in it to encourage people to grow different kinds of crops instead of just what's the most profitable

i wish there was an auto-save option because this game crashes WAAAYy to much and i'm always losing progress.
I think the fish item might be an auto grabber for the fish ponds.

As a mobile-only player I would LOVE to harvest crops with a scythe!
What do you think about things like new cooking/crafting recipes being added…are those of us who’ve reached perfection going to “un-reach” perfection if we haven’t made those new recipes?
I also love the fishing net idea. I thought that sprite at the top looked like a fishing backpack..maybe you buy this and never have to store fish in your regular inventory and run out of room?
I think we’ll get a frog hutch, like the slime hutch but for frogs.
