For destroyer you could use weapon called mechanical wrench (or something like that, don't remember correctly). After attack it lefts a lot of projectiles which hang in air and absolutely melt destroyer
you can hear the music cutting in and out and it's a bit awkward, i don't know what editing app you use but is there a way you can fix it?

Throwing is great in journey mode once you research things like shurikens, throwing knives, and the other items that can be used to throw. But what is this unusual bird shaped boss, since it looks like tmod loader with mods is being used…

I think something that may have helped you early game would have been Lasting Pliers, they are a non-consumable Thrower weapon dropped by the Cobbler when he dies.
