I made a video about how you can make an incredibly decorative pretty farm in stardew valley, but what if it was both decorative and efficient at the same time? Well, it turns out that we can have both! And that is exactly what I am going to show you how to achieve in this video.

  1. Why does no one put the 100% retaining soil in the greenhouse? I did this and now theres no need for sprinklers in there ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Aged goat cheese > truffle oil.
Truffle oil sells for 200 gold more, but pigs don't dig up truffles during winter. Also it saves you space since goats don't need to go outside to produce milk.

  3. I'd argue ancient fruit is more efficient than starfruit, which is why I use the ancient fruit in kegs and starfruit in preserves instead. You don't have to spend for ancient seeds each time, and you get almost two harvests of an ancient fruit plant once mature for each starfruit grown without speed gro. You can, at most, equal the ancient fruit regrowth speed, but at the cost of losing the artisan profession. Assuming you only have deluxe speedgro like me, a starfruit will only profit you 20 more g a day (including brewing time) assuming you don't age. Including aging time, it's still only 20.5g more profit a day than ancient fruit wine, and you're spending resources for speedgro on top of that.

Maybe I just like planting my ancient fruit in my greenhouse and never having to replant again lol

  4. I find truly amazing that after 2 whole years playing this game, i'm still discovering new stuff that i didn't knew, about to start a new farm as a side project and some of these tips will help me out a bunch

  5. your farm looks so good – I'm at that stage where I've still not got the money for things like obelisks and the like, but it's so nice seeing designs that are balanced between minmax and aesthetics

  6. Sheds? Doesn't everyone use cabins instead? They're smaller outside, bigger inside, look better, and can have a cellar each! They're also cheaper to build early on

  7. Ive never seen those decor trees before (im guessing it's a mod) I wish we had mods on ps4 like how bethesda did. Though I know CA is only one man and I have no idea how it even works but i think it would be profitable for him if he did..

  8. I think I like this farm more just because my brain thinks things look better when there efficient. But both farms look awesome, keep up the good work

    Ps. love your videos

  9. Thanks a lot for all your helpful videos! I think 99% of my knowledge in this game is from your videos๐Ÿ˜† Do you happen to have a zoomed out screenshot of this layout? Finding it tricky to follow along!

  10. Can someone tell me approximately how many โ€œyearsโ€ it takes to get to this level? Iโ€™m only on the start of year two and am still scraping-by for resources. I donโ€™t have a good system down yet.

  11. Could you post a grid layout of this? I love the design and I want to take some inspo from it but I can't really gauge sizes.
