for this adventure I'll be shaking up the channel a little and experimenting with different release schedules, episode lengths and pacing! I've not got it all figured out just yet so bear with me as I try a couple new things
I’ve been meaning to play Infernum, and playing along to this is very satisfying. Also this game mode is awfully hard. Also, true melee damage is melee that does not shoot projectiles.

Infernum isn’t really hard but it is really fun and I highly recommend a full playthrough along with the infernum music mod, I can’t ever use calamity without it
There is a Extra Mod that lets you be in FTW/Master Mode with Infernum. If you ever want to reach the highest actual difficulty.
True Melee Damage refers to the ability to bypass armor completely and do the exact damage that the weapon states

"True melee damage" refers to damage done by true melee strikes. This damage is increased by certain accessories that boost true melee damage specifically.
"True melee weapons" are a term used to refer to melee weapons that either do not fire projectiles or only do so upon landing true melee strikes.

True melee is just melee. Theres no projectiles or anything its direct damage.

My friend and I began a Calamity world a few years ago. We played consistently when we where done with classes and in between studying so generally an hour or two a day. We got stuck on Wall of Flesh (we where playing revengance mode and also pretty mediocre at calamity mod), it took us a year to beat it. We took a break after almost a 4 hour grind session just to kill Wall of flesh, keep in mind we’re both college students at this point in time. During summer break, we decided that’d we would continue. But the save file got corrupted because of something that happened with a Tmod loader update. We where both pretty pissed, we poured blood, sweat, and tears into the world, and so easily lost it because of an update.
I’m doing the fargos soul hardest difficulty in infernum mode. It’s kinda hard

Imagine doing a play through with Eternity mode, Infernum mode, Zenith seed, AND on medium core. ( Or Hardcore) If they were compatible, that would MAXIMUM suffering.😅🥲😢😭

Do you want true pain and suffering? Are the souls games not hard enough for you? Try the calamity infernum mod, mix with hard mode (hard-core if you're a true masochist), small map and The Constant seed and you'll experience hell in it's truest form
I plan to play a solo infernum run next week, its a nice surprise that you also chose to start it.

Infernum does work with master and for the worthy it just has a separate mod to do the patch

if you are not gonna use the mods that give you infinite potion duration (fargo's, luiafk, etc), expect a lot of suffering and grinding

I wouldn't recommend getting too attatched to one class, it can be really beneficial to switch classes based on what suits your playstyle of the boss the best. Also, the class setups page on the wiki is life saving
