The Terraria Golem drop you forgot existed… The Staff of Earth. In this video, we take a look at one of the more forgotten and possibly underwhelming post Golem mage weapons that doesn’t really offer anything spectacular for the player. This part of the game definitely has the highest concertation of weapons for how short lived it is, so its only natural we get some outliers like this. Either way, lets take a look at how it does, and maybe just maybe it’s worth picking up. Enjoy!

  1. Hate to ask but sock can you please make a pirate staff review I’ve just gotten one (never knew there was one in game never seen it) and I’m wondering if it’s good also would be cool to figure out if the most annoying invasion had a rare but good drop

  2. Who else remembers the Og name.

    Favorite thing to do was lodge it into a block and it would just sit there, constantly dealing damage.

  3. honestly the heat ray is a far worse golem drop, it just… fires. in a straight line, no pierce, only about a hundred damage with a good setup, sure a reasonably fast firerate, but nothing compared to the aforementioned razorpine, and lower dps than even the most basic vanilla staff to come before it, the spectre staff. truly a failure of a weapon.

  4. I always thought this weapon wasn't great, but still used it at the very start of post-golem to help get some better weapons

  5. Earth staff would've been worth it if speed would directly influence it's damage output. Dealing for instance 150% base damage at starting speed increasing/decreasing along with the velocity.

  6. My recommended ways to fix this one:
    Increase piercing to infinite (boulders shattering after 5 hits? no, c'mon)
    Increase fire rate just a touch

  7. I would love for this weapon to have its attack speed quarted but deal ludacris damage on his like 1.5-1.8x the dps of stuff around that point in progression make it one of those weapons that can match the pillar weapons (as long as you can hit your shots)

    I know the weapon and it's bad

    It's only good against destroyer and eow but since you passed them to get to golem it's useless

  9. To be entirely fair, hardmode magic weapon progression is entirely broken by the Razorblade Typhoon. It's obtainable pre-mech, and it's arguably the best weapon in the entire game.

  10. Idk i dont feel like the wep is weak? Or not good?
    I just think you might need either make it accessible eariler or make items like the Pine and razorblade not obtainable right when you get into hard mode basically.

  11. Heat ray, stynger, and possesed hatchet are more forgettable (in my opinion). If you would count it, I would say destroyer emblem is the most forgettable besides maybe stynger.

  12. The Staff of Earth allows you to easily weaponize a Terrarian's worst nightmare against your foes, so yes, I use it because it's hilarious to hurl boulders at my enemies while shouting "You're bold, but I'm boulder!" at the screen. (Yes, the text in quotation marks in this comment is, in fact, a Cuphead DLC reference, in case you wanted to know.)

  13. Relogic really needs to add content to this stage of the game, rebalancing weapons here, and beef out things to do instead of rushing straight to Moonlord. Pre-hardmode is nice and padded for leisurely progression thanks to building and semi-slow upgrading. Sad to see that the real meat of the game (hardmode) is basically a boss rush
